Brilliant value for money
You could spend 3 times the green fees at other courses and not play on such fantastic greens.Bunkers could do with a bit more sand but overall.Top notch.Only negative you could find yourself behind golfers of all or no ability or course etiquette.

Good Value Course
Played in May 2025. Course very dry so all balls went long. Fairways in good condition, very open course lots of water/hazards so make sure you have lots of balls as the course gobbles them up.The management need to decide what the hole 12th is. Card is marked as a long par n5 but tee now half way down the hole. Is it a short par 4 or long par 3???? Note sure how you can play real competitions when the SI and par are based on the old tee position.

A rare gem of a course
We weren't sure what to expect here, only because the prices were so very reasonable. What a fantastic surprise....after literally antedeluvian rains it was still completely playable (perhaps Signature a tad drier than the Masters). The fairways were brilliant. The greens no doubt started each day as extremely good but courtesy of the selfish few who don't repair pitch marks there was a fair bit of pitch damage. That said, the greens remained true and better/ as good as many far more expensive local courses. We would throughly recommend these courses as great to play and incredibly good value.Reviewer Rating

We play both courses on a regular basis but are not members.Both courses are a decent challenge with a good variety of holes.
The course is in excellent condition all year round, particularly the greens, with only the bunkers requiring improvement.
For the cost of a round, they're by far the best value for money courses in and around Bristol.

Great greens
Enjoyable round of golf (apart from the downpour of rain for the last 2 holes!).The course was in better condition than I had expected. The greens were very nice, with even grass and no lumps or bumps.

Great course for the money you pay, a decent challenge but not too taxing for higher handicap players. Well looked after and kept in very good condition. Enjoy playing this course each time (even if I'm not very good). You come away thinking you can do better as opposed to some courses that are just too hard.

Open all year, despite terrible weather
I've only been playing for a year, but I have to say that despite the record breaking rainfall, Woodlands have only been closed a handful of times. This is a credit to the grounds team who have kept the course in great condition, in particular the greens which are in very good condition. Signature course is my favourite. Prices have gone up ?2 this year, but still very much worth the money.Reviewer Rating

Parkland - short but beware
A lovely test of all of your clubs from 7oiron to putter.Water comes into play on no fewer than 14 of its holes - so either play with someone who knows the course better!

First time playing this course and although the fairways were quite forgiving you still had to put the ball in the right areas to approach/attack the greens. Towards the back of the course there are 3 or 4 water holes which are really fun to play and also very tricky. Greens very fast and lots of slopes. Price was excellent. Clubhouse having some work carrie out so no food available but you can have a drink. Noise from the adjacent motorway is not intrusive. Will play again.

What GREAT value for money!
I challenge all "Golfshakers" to find any course anywhere that is such good value for money , at £20 Mo-Fri or £22 at w/ends.Great challenge, good risk & reward holes, superbly consistent and true greens.
3 to 4 shots trickier than its shorter but more water-riddled younger sister, "The Signature"

Fantastic Golf Course for great value!
I played a round on the Masters Course on 15th April 2023 with some mates as part of a Society Social. Fantastic Challenging Course with enjoyable scenic holes consisting of fast greens in great condition, plenty of water hazards, fairway bunkers and brooks about for great value for money!!.
