Brilliant wall to wall blue sky day - long period (3/4 weeks) without much rain - fairways in very good nick - bunkers well raked : soft sand - some greens a bit bumpy ; could do with some rain then rolling

Fantastic condition, especially the greens. There are only a few things that let it down and that's at times the course can seem a bit generic, and the tee boxes need some TLC. I'll certainly play again at some point.

I played there today, course in excellent condition with greens running fast and true. we were made very welcome by the lady in the pro shop and the twilight round cost today was only £22. (bet 2 - 4pm tee off)
No driving range, but nets and practice ground and a large practice putting green.
Wide fairways on some holes so able to utilise driver with confidence- some long par 4's and 3's. Good variety of greens layouts, slopes, tiered and level. bunkers had decent sand in. Not many blind tee shots. A mixture of uphill, downhill and level holes.
Highly recommended and an enjoyable layout. (shot 82 0ff 10 handicap) took just over 3 hours with no hold ups playing as a single. Food not sampled so can't comment on that. bar prices seemed reasonable. Would happily play again if in area.

Attended Golf Society day and thoroughly enjoyed the course - even though it was raining most of the time! Challenging par 3's and some longish par 4's. Testing but fair for all - scatch golfer and rabbit alike. And course in lovely condition despite the lousy winter and recent wet weather. Greens ran true and fairways lush. Nice people in the pro shop and bar/restaurant - good supper (ham, eggs and chips) - and a friendly Captain too!

First time playing here. Excellent course. Generally in very good condition and appeared to be well maintained. Interesting layout without being punishing and a number of very good holes throughout the round. Only downside was that the greens had recently been tinned which made them a touch firm and pretty slow, but I'd imagine they'll be very good in a week or two. And having paid £25 twilight, I couldn't really complain. Had a quick drink in the bar afterwards which was fine and all at the club seemed friendly. Will head back in due course.
