What the club says: IGC was established in 1927 and has, since that time, proven to be one of the most attractive and challenging tests of golf in the county of Sussex. The golf course itself, has changed little since its inception and measures over 6,300 yards from the back tees. No matter if you are playing from the whites, yellow or red tees the design of the course ensures that is has stood the test of time and offers a good challenge to all levels of ability.

Course nice bar staff were rude as usual

Course was in great condition I used to be a member there but gave it up after 3 months as the staff (not pros) we're generally rude unwelcoming and abrupt , unfortunately nothing changes there.

Greens Knackered

Only £25, but the greens are awful. If the club can get the greens back this could be a great parkland course.

Good not brilliant

Overall its a well designed course in good condition.
However, the greens do leave a lot to be desired. Bumpy and lots of unrepaired pitch marks.
Staff are lovely.

Ifield is a great course for beginners and established players, it is challenging. but not to tough.
The staff are really friendly and it is a nice place to play.

This is the first time that I have played this course and I was impressed with the condition of the course. It is a nice course that is good for the novice golfer and the more experienced player. The ladies in the pro shop were friendly and welcoming and the facilities are very good. I will definitely be playing here again. The only downside is that the tees are not marked and the only way that we knew where to go was by following the group in front of us.

Nice Undulating Course

Saturday PM - Round was £35.
A nice course with lots of ups and downs and a crater to avoid!
Feels a long course when playing.
A couple of the Par 4's feel like 5's and course should possibly be a 72 instead of a 70.
