Leen valley golf club have put a lot of effort into the coarse over the last year by adding drainage tubes to help with water logged fairways

Played in January the day after a storm. Course now drys alot quicker than it used to. Bunkers look good trimmed edges just the new sand to go in now. Full greens and tees all winter cant be bad. Great views on a clear day.

Played the course in December 2013 and it was the driest ive ever seen at that time of year. Course improved with all the drainage work taking place. Fantastic value for money

The course was in very good condition, firm and very hilly but the views are fantastic especially the back 9 with the large pond behind the 13th hole.
The Staff were excellent and friendly. the price could not be beat 10 holes for £9. Facilities wonderful including 20 bay driving range and practice putting green.
Great value for money. Worth a go. ^_^

This course has recently had drainage installed on every single hole there must be over 4000 metres of drainage pipes installed. Much improved course and reviews are out of date. Greens were so true and smooth in september 2012

you have to give this course a go all of these reviews are out of date a lot of work has gone on inthe past year and it improved tenfold well done to the ground staff

A much improved course and new owners have done well to turn this ex Jack Barker course around. 100, 150 and 200 yardage markers are now on fairways, next tees are clearly marked and each tee box has new signage. Greens used to be mossy and bobbly but they are improving a md should be good this time next year. Also bunkers have been terrible but these are being tackled one by one. Excellent value for money and a good course for high handicappers with a few challenging holes for the better player. Excellent facilities with the clubhouse and driving range and staff/members very friendly. Overall this course is getting a lot better and will be in fine condition over the next year or so.

This is a fantasic Golf course with every type of hole imagenable from uphill holes, downhill holes and not many flat holes.
i have only played halve a round with my friend and have played holes 1-9 but the course was a bit muddy in places but it was still in winter but a fine course indeed.
the driving range was excellent and was really good value for money like for a basket of balls any size where between £1-£3.
good quality selection of clubs for sale and and a huge selection of second hand golf balls and drinks each in the cooler in the pro shop between £1-£3.
great practice facilities including a putting green and chipping area near the 1st Tee.
enough said Great course, Friendly helpful staff and great value for money.

Interesting course with a range of different types of holes. Fairways were a little threadbare in places but greens were good and true.
