What the club says: The 6102 yard, Par 71 Course has been carefully remodelled to provide a parkland feel. With mounding lining the majority of fairways, it is important that you hit your drive on them in order to make your approach to the greens easier. Once on the greens they rank as some of the best in the County. Water has to be negotiated on a number of holes and avoid the resident swans at all costs.

Poor Bunkers/ Slow Greens
Played in a four- ball on Saturday morning. Course ok, but greens very slow and all bunkers were not prepared and just full of weeds that had been treated with a blue chemical. We made our own rule to make bunkers GUR for the whole round. We were disappointed that the bunkers were like this as it made the round incomplete.Reviewer Rating

Fantastic views
The course itself needs some tlc, silly things like only one ball washer on the course, no distance markers to be seen, tee boxes not very well kept, some holes had a lucozade bottle as the yellow tee off marker. Things like this let it down badly. The positives: good layout, tough holes, fantastic food and drink, cheap to play, although the course was extremely wet after the last few weeks monsoon it still played well. Cheap rates,
The greens were good considering the wet and I can't imagine the difficultly the ground staff have had getting out there. Fair play to them.
Will return hopefully will be a lot dryer out there.

Great for beginers
I am just starting out and most of the courses Ive been to so far didnt make me feel very welcome. I am very nervous just starting out however Paul at Leen Valley was much more welcoming and understanding and made me feel at ease. The course is really fun to play and is well presented.Reviewer Rating

Ok Course
Played in a four ball on Saturday. Course not that busy, there seemed to be more people playing golf football. No hold ups in play. Fairways and greens ok but rough allowed to grow, so very punishing. Clubhouse staff friendly. Had a beer and a chip cob in the bar. Sky tv available so able to catch lions test score and tour highlights.Reviewer Rating
