First of all thank you very much to learn valley for allowing us to complete our longest day challenge in aid of MacMillan cancer support however course requires attention and felt staff were more interested in footgolf than golf also the whole place shut at 6pm on a Saturday Inc bar not impressed by that so went to local pub for post 72 hole celebration drink

Great course all year round, never packed and do worry about foot golf as they do not interfere. Has a range and putting green and course plays in even the worst weather. Great staff

Thank you for your comments Dave we appreciate your feedback. In future we would prefer to be given a chance to help you on the day. Yes we have launched Foot-Golf only 2 days before you played in fact. Foot-Golf is played after 3pm weekdays and 12 noon at weekends. We do not allow the two games to mix. Meaning less interruption for both groups of players.
Being the first course in Nottinghamshire to launch the game shows how forward thinking we are as a club and how welcoming we are to all. Some of the most prestigious golf clubs in the world are allowing foot golf on their courses.
We have broken down a lot of the barriers for people who would be scared of visiting us in the past. We have a relaxed dress code and welcome everyone to our club from beginner to experienced golfer. At our club we have no snooty members and children and families are very welcome at any time to play golf or foot-golf.
In the future we are hoping to launch lots of other FUN types of golf so that everyone in the local area knows they are welcome and that you do not have to be a member. They can also relax in the fact that our rules are relaxed so that they are not scared of members challenging them for dress code or not playing the game "properly". Golf is meant to be FUN, FAST and OPEN to ALL and that is what we are aiming for.

Well maintained and offers a great challenge for the price. Course is set out round a hill but the fairways are generally reasonably flat. Greens well kept all year round.

By far THE WORST golf course I've ever played on.
The sheer fact that people were playing 'Foot-Golf' at the same time gives you an idea of the JOKE standard of this place.
Save your money and go elsewhere. I have no idea where these other poster were playing when giving their reviews because it's the pits.

Surprisingly Enjoyable Round of Golf!
After seeing the price and reading the reviews I thought this was going to be a pretty poor course. I was, however, pleasantly surprised.
The front 9 was not too difficult, but the hills and wind certainly made for a challenge. The back 9 was far more narrow and a degree of accuracy was needed on a lot more holes.
For 16 a round I would give it a thumbs up.
