One of the cheapest courses in the area to join as a member (circa £500 for 5 day annual) and well worth the money.
Course used to be in terrible condition but new owners have improved it every year. Greens are extremely well maintained, run very true but not overly quick. Open all year round, never any tee boards, never any temporary greens.
Practice facilities are great. Bar food good. Members friendly. Relaxed atmosphere.
It's not a course you would go out of your way to play as a one-off but if you are looking for a club to join, play regularly and improve your game then I cannot fault it.

Refurb happing at mo with new pro shop being built. New holes are being built for re launch in nxt couple of months. A great course with a mix of easy & hard holes.

First few holes will challenge you as will the island green. Rest of the course is quite up and down, but overall a good track. Can get round in under 3hrs if not too busy

Good condition and well tended for a Public Course
Interesting greens as airated about 2 weeks ago and each "spike" has a growth but does not affect the flow of the ball!! Definitely a game of 2 halves. The 9th, 10th and 18th all par 3's over the same stretch of water but completrely different holes. Wouldn't mind another visit one dayReviewer Rating

Academy course

Worth A Trip
Last minute booking for Friday night, was a little surprised there was a queue on the first tee, looked like people had jumped the queue somewhat. Course was dry which was unsurprising but the greens played well. They have excellent range facilities that you do need to book. Bar and food options are really good. Will play againReviewer Rating
