What the club says: Experience our newly designed 18 hole Millennium Course with it's famous 10th hole par 3 island green, set in parkland with tree lined fairways the 5,682 yards par 70 Course is a good test of Golf at any level.
The recently re-opened 9 hole par 3 ‘Joyce Course’ now boasts larger elevated tees overlooking contoured fairways, leading to new extended greens.

Course in good condition
After so.much dry weather then heavy down pours. Expect the course to be waterlogged. It had drained well and the greens were in excellent condition.Reviewer Rating

Great value golf for a society outing
Many thanks to Horton Park GC for hosting my Blackballs Golf Society on the last Sunday in April 2025. Our 14 players had a great time & were well looked after by all the staff, especially course marshal Jay who took photos on our behalf & gave us an excellent briefing before we teed off. Go elsewhere.
If you think something is too good to be true, it probably is. Lesson learnt. Approach shot got plugged in the green, fairways were swamps resulting in balls lost in the middle of the fairway. Save your money and play elsewhere.Reviewer Rating

First few holes will challenge you as will the island green. Rest of the course is quite up and down, but overall a good track. Can get round in under 3hrs if not too busy

Good condition and well tended for a Public Course
Interesting greens as airated about 2 weeks ago and each "spike" has a growth but does not affect the flow of the ball!! Definitely a game of 2 halves. The 9th, 10th and 18th all par 3's over the same stretch of water but completrely different holes. Wouldn't mind another visit one dayReviewer Rating

Poor
Played here this morning. The fairways and green approaches are extremely boggy. Some of the greens were even squelching under foot. There has rain lately but nothing out of the ordinary. I play a lot of golf and this course was one of the worst for conditions that I have played of late. The firts cut was 6 inches long which even resulted in the loss of a couple of balls, these should of been easily found. This course needs work, and a lot of it. I paid for 18 and left after 9. Wont be back anytime soon. Shame. If you want to have a cheap round go here, if you want a nice round which decent conditions, look elsewhereReviewer Rating

Academy course
Great par 3 course for a fun knock about with friends, kids, beginners or to work on your short game. Starting to mature nicely, good range of hole lengths and some investment clearly being made. Will return.Reviewer Rating

Worth A Trip
Last minute booking for Friday night, was a little surprised there was a queue on the first tee, looked like people had jumped the queue somewhat. Course was dry which was unsurprising but the greens played well. They have excellent range facilities that you do need to book. Bar and food options are really good. Will play againReviewer Rating

Great little course, which has had decent investment over the years. You can play 9 or 18 holes on the millennium course, and a great little par 3 course perfect for practice and kids

Golf club away day
Every August we organise an away day for our members and this year we gave Horton Park a go. And thank goodness we did. Everyone had a fantastic day. From the start Simon welcomed us into our own function room for coffee and delicious bacon sarnies. Then we were put into the hands of Jay, the course marshall, who organised our round on the Academy course. Back to the clubhouse where Kath and Patrick made sure lunch and drinks were supplied. The afternoon saw us playing The Millennium course. Again, Jay was there to start us off and organise the groups. Post round we were back in the clubhouse function for a three course sit down meal and Kath and Patrick were deployed to keep us in check and ensure we were fed and watered. All in all, excellent course and facilities. And great value as well,Reviewer Rating

Played here many times as its local, course is in reasonable condition. reasonable value for money and not too busy.
