Go elsewhere.
If you think something is too good to be true, it probably is. Lesson learnt. Approach shot got plugged in the green, fairways were swamps resulting in balls lost in the middle of the fairway. Save your money and play elsewhere.Reviewer Rating

Poor
Played here this morning. The fairways and green approaches are extremely boggy. Some of the greens were even squelching under foot. There has rain lately but nothing out of the ordinary. I play a lot of golf and this course was one of the worst for conditions that I have played of late. The firts cut was 6 inches long which even resulted in the loss of a couple of balls, these should of been easily found. This course needs work, and a lot of it. I paid for 18 and left after 9. Wont be back anytime soon. Shame. If you want to have a cheap round go here, if you want a nice round which decent conditions, look elsewhereReviewer Rating

Golf club away day
Every August we organise an away day for our members and this year we gave Horton Park a go. And thank goodness we did. Everyone had a fantastic day. From the start Simon welcomed us into our own function room for coffee and delicious bacon sarnies. Then we were put into the hands of Jay, the course marshall, who organised our round on the Academy course. Back to the clubhouse where Kath and Patrick made sure lunch and drinks were supplied. The afternoon saw us playing The Millennium course. Again, Jay was there to start us off and organise the groups. Post round we were back in the clubhouse function for a three course sit down meal and Kath and Patrick were deployed to keep us in check and ensure we were fed and watered. All in all, excellent course and facilities. And great value as well,Reviewer Rating

Great place to get into golf
Really good family friendly facility with driving range, chipping and putting practice areas, par 3 academy course and adventure golf to complement the main 18 hole course. Club house always seems well patronised with large outdoor seating area and there's even a small play area for the kids. Pro shop has great selection of specialist kids clubs and appears to have a thriving junior scene. There isn't a dress code but it's a relaxed & friendly place to play golf, which is much more important to me.The main course is fairly short but a number of holes are very tight. A few holes are a bit dull in layout but several are more interesting and require some thought and shot shaping. Condition was awful in early November when I last played it, incredibly wet and should've been closed really but I played twilight last night and it was in decent shape for the time of year. Didn't see any cracks that previous reviewer mentions, though only managed 14 holes before it got dark. Greens needed to be cut but otherwise pretty good surface. I practice here quite often and will return to play both courses again as well. I hope to introduce my kids to golf here one day, ideal place for it.

Horrific condition
The course never should have been open today after all the rain we had. Most of the fairways and greens waterlogged and in poor condition. They should ban trolleys as they are cutting up the course. It seems like they only kept it open to make a bit of money. The course itself is poor and not memorable at all. The "island" green is only an island because a small channel of water runs around the back of it. Practice facilities are ok but expensive for a bucket of ballsReviewer Rating

Testing course in good condition
Played Horton Park Millenium course for the first time and was impressed. We were greeted by a staff member in the clubhouse who explained how the GPS system on the buggy works - this shows on a screen inside the buggy how to find the next tee which is useful as otherwise the course layout gets a bit confusing. The screen also shows a map of each hole and current yardage to the front and back of the green from any point on the hole. The course conditions were generally good and the course requires a lot of thought. The fairways are tight with trees located in such a position that a slightly off line tee shot will block out the approach shot to the green. Stand out holes are the island par 3 10th and the long uphill par 3 9th and 18th, both of which require drives over the lake. I’ll definitely be back soon to see if I can improve on my score!(Round played: Jun 2019 - Score: 98 Handicap: 18.2)

We played the millennium course Saturday 14/04/2018 and never again. Whilst the staff are really helpful the pace of play was terrible. It took about five and a half hours all because of a four ball in front who didn’t have a clue. Who let them out in track bottoms and trainers?? Other groups were skipping holes just to get by them. You need a marshal on the course to keep groups moving.Reviewer Rating

A very good course with some challenging holes.
The par 3 10th (island hole) is a good one. The water does mess with your head a bit. Have seen people lose a few balls (and their temper) with this one.
Well worth a regular knock with a good friendly 19th to end
