Difficult Course

More difficult than most due to fast speed of greens and intimidation factor on shape of some holes

A good 9 hole course, nice and accessible and good short game practise. Worth heading over for a game.

I will be back

Played in dry conditions and really got found out. Greens were good but found fairways impossible to hit, bounced off almost all of them and into punishing thick rough. Knowing the yardage and the course would have helped, but knowing the course for next time and playing it strategically will help more.

Course in good condition despite the recent terrible weather. Greens in great nick and very playable. Only gripe would be lack of yardage markers on the course, because the course has undergone a few changes gps watches were useless after 3 holes. Would come back into the summer

Played this course with a group of about 20 from a Society, and we were all very impressed with the course, which has been closed for some time (re-opened in July 2018 I believe), and has had major changes made, to increase it to 27 holes, and also has a foot-golf course. The greens were a good speed, bunkers seemed to be well stocked, and a decent selection of tees. We were told to go off the white (competition) tees, where the total yardage is just 6011. The fairways were not too tight, but wandering into the rough was seriously penalised, even if you could find your ball, as the rough is VERY long. Our Society normally has breakfast, but this was not an option, although we did have bacon rolls which were very good. Tea and coffee were included with our price, which I believe was ?28.00 for a Saturday morning society round. Pace of play was also good, although I did feel some of the players around the course were somewhat noisy, not caring about other players nearby. The bar is also quite small, and would probably struggle to cope with more than 40 people. I will definitely be going back, and hopefully playing better! Chipping and putting greens were open, but the 2 driving nets were cordoned off when we were there.

quite an enjoyable course to play but it is a little bit exposed to the weather which can make some holes very tough!

fairways were very good.

Greens were hollow tined but not too bad,not easy to keep your ball on and interesting to putt( you really have to think about it)

club shop woeful to say the least!!! no course guides and drinks, chocolate bars etc upstairs in the bar but wasn't allowed to wear spikes to get them

Now called "Caddington Golf Club", this was once part of Vauxhall Motors staff facilities. Only played it once a few years ago, but some good holes and a fair test of your golfing ability. Quite near to Luton Airport so it can be noisy!

Caddington has improved immensely in the last few years. Course was in good condition after wet weather. Excellent value on a Monday.
