Challenging but rewarding course
We played a twilight round on a Sunday evening and were literally the only people on the whole course for 4 hours. This baffled us because this is a really good course and there should have been loads more players. This is a really interesting course to play - you need to think on every hole, course management comes to the fore and good iron play off the tee (even on par 5s) is rewarded. There are very few holes where you stand on the tee and think I’ll smash a driver and see what happens. Split fairways, strategically placed bunkers and interesting risk/reward holes (16th being prime example) make it a great course and elevates above the likes of Stockwood, Batchwood,Redbourn, Mill Green etc. Certain holes (5th for example) have a distinctly linksy feel, which is unusual in South Bedfordshire! Only criticism was the greens - challenging and split level in parts (10th is great) but WAY too many bobbles. It was late on Sunday but needed a huge amount of rolling. Frustrating to navigate a difficult hole and then miss a par putt due to a rogue bounce! That aside, really enjoyed it. Team were very friendly despite staying at work just for us. We will definitely be back!Reviewer Rating

Back again
Returned to play this course again. My daughter has recently moved into the village so it’s a natural choice when visiting. I played twice in the last week. The course is in excellent condition, particularly the greens which, despite the heavy recent rains, were exceptionally good and quite quick.Reviewer Rating

Tough?
I enjoy playing here, but tough today with the wind. Greens are always a challenge, but have to complain that they were hard in places. On several occasions myself and playing partners experienced ridiculously high bounces when hitting wedges from 100 yards or so?Reviewer Rating

Great value for money
I played in a society game. We had coffee and tea but no food. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. The course is a real challenge for high handicap golfers but fair. Definitely worth a visit and very inexpensive. A bargain round not to be missed. I'm sure that when the kitchen is up and running that it will only add to a very good day.Reviewer Rating

Challenging track
Course was wet but very playable. Still managed to score net 66.First time at Caddington and will be returning soon. Tough pin positions, a number of tiered greens and well positioned hazards to make you constantly think about course management.
Only downside is in places it's very tight and a number of holes
Feel like they are almost on top of each other. Balls from other tee boxes flew in our direction on at least 3 occasions.

Will return
This course is worth a visit. Greens in really good shape considering the time of year and amount of rain we have had. Most of the fairways were very wet.
Course layout, moreso on the back nine, is very interesting. Be interesting to see j]how many pars are made on the SI 1 hole. Over 200 yards par 3 and the green slopes considerably.
Will return soon to hopefully enjoy better weather and overall course conditions.

Great course, greens had been spiked but still very much playable. fairways a bit boggy in some parts but with the the poor weather of late i wouldnt let this put me off from playing here.course can be quite hilly but its a great layout and can be really quite rewarding if you play your clubs right.

Nice course
Played this on a blisteringly hot day and was thankful for the lakes so I could dip my hat in them to cool down. Nice course but will improve over time as fairly new, some nice holes with water(Round played: Jun 2019 - Score: 92 Handicap: 13.6)

Good challenge
Only reopened a year ago, this is maturing nicely. They have cut back the rough beside the fairways to make it a fairer challenge for the higher handicapper. The last five holes (all new in the redesign) were the hardest for me! The greens were in good conditionReviewer Rating
