Course is currently in a bad way.....lots of work going on....especially around the first few holes.

No driving range currently.

I know however that these changes being made can only improve what will be a good course. Also the 9 hole course will be a good addition.

Not Great. First 5 holes are like a building site due to the construction of new driving range facilities, yet nothing off the cost of a round and no mention in advance of the work.
Greens weren't in great condition, certainly given the cost.
Overall a dissapointing experience which is a shame as I'm sure this can be a nice course.

Enjoyable round

My friend and I played at Great Hadham in December 2021/ We had played here a couple of times but not for three years. In that time, improvements have been made to the course so we were keen to try the out the course. The course is quite challenging for a high handicapper like myself but not too much so. There are a few interesting holes though there are a number of holes that seem a bit samey. The course was in good condition despite the recent wet weather - the fairways were only wet in a few places and the bunkers have improved dramatically since we last played.

The clubhouse is a bit unprepossessing from the outside but is really nice inside. The pro shop is well stocked and the bar and eating area is both large and airy. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was good.

We will definitely play there again.

Course is ok, for me it needs improvement on the layout and the fairways, can be big down on certain holes but never the less this is a course that destroy a round by one bad shot, particularly on the front 9.

It was a really bad day, heavy rain and cold. More like November than June. Greens were fairly water-logged.

Potential but average course

Been playing here for years, some time ago they changed the layout meaning back 9 is now font 9.
Some good holes here especially par 3?s however some temp tees in summer isn't great, glass like unkept fairways and building works still happening over many years, was a foot golf venue, now has lodges onsite, all very odd.
One to consider though not amazing

Lovely local course

Very well kept course. Clubhouse needs some work though. Was building work nearby not sure if they were building something new. But a good course and greens well maintained during a hot season.

Enjoyable round

My friend played here having played here only once before in 2017. At the time, there was a lot of work going to change and improve the course so it was interesting to see how things had changed. The two nines had been swapped so the old 10th is now the new 1st. We felt that the course had improved but was still a work in progress. Nonetheless, we enjoyed our round and would definitely play here again. The clubhouse staff were helpful and friendly too, which helped in the enjoyment of the day.

Needs some attention but great value and quick round

Looks a little tired and in need of some cash to be spent on it but it's great value Twilight and easy to get round quickly in a buggy

Improving

Course in reasonable condition given recent wet weather. Greens vastly improved over last 12 months. Bunkers still all GUR but lots of work being deon around course to improve,
