DELIGHTFUL COURSE IN HERTFORDSHIRE COUNTRYSIDE
STAFF ARE VERY FRIENDLY. FOOD AND DRINK AVAILABLE AFTER ROUND ONLY AT MOMENT. COURSE IN GOOD CONDITION, FAIRWAYS REASONABLE WITH EXCELLENT GREENS. A COUPLE OF AREAS STILL NEED WORK BUT OVERALL A DELIGHTFUL COURSE TO PLAY. ROUGH DIFFICULT FOR WAYWARD HITTERS! BUNKERS ARE REGULARLY RAKED AND COURSE MARSHAL'S TRY AND ENSURE SPEED OF PLAY IS SENSIBLE.(Round played: Jul 2020 - Score: 90 Handicap: 15.8)

Great price and guy in Pro shop was most accomodating as we hadn't played there before. No temporary tees (apart from one hole under redevelopment) and no temporary greens - A rare sight at this time of year. Will definitely play there again.

I arranged to play this course as passing the area. What a delight it turned out to be! This inland links style course is a treat and a challenge rolled in to one! With some very tight fairways and undulating holes driving position is key, but the greens are also small and undulating whilst running true and fast! A great course, with courteous, helpful staff and just as nice members. Another visit is on the cards very soon!

a great deal of work has made this course very worthwhile playing now,apart from a couple of holes the course is very enjoyable.Good tiered greens and level tees.£10 for a round with a beer and snack thrown in is great value.

In a word - excellent - the cheapest course around for miles and what a belter!
I tried the par 3 and 18 hole course (thanks to veterans Colin, Mike and John for letting me join you as a first time visitor).
The fairways were wide enough to be helpful but not too easy and the long grass was cut well back so balls were not lost easily. Greens were true and well paced and the bunkers whilst not coming into play for me very often, are well positioned and well maintained (the par 3 bunkers need weeding however). A warm welcome in the pro shop who couldn't be more helpful and a nice glass of lemonade in the bar afterwards made for a great day of golf all round! Thanks GHGC!

Attended a golf day with 40 players. Great weather, course. The welcome by staff was professional and the changing rooms in good order. The Dinner in the evening was fantastic by way of quality and service.

Played there a few times in the last couple of months, though there are holes under construction the course seems well maintained and greens are excellent condition. Nice shaped holes especially the 11th.

Quirky course

Great Hadham GC

Course in good condition especially considering the recent weather. Greens recently sprayed / fed, playing a little slower than usual. Rough getting very long. Fairways ready for a cut. Staff friendly and helpful. Good selection of refreshments in clubhouse.o
