this course has vastly improved for winter golf in recent years, the greens are in excellent condition for the time of year with no disease, I notice that the green staff are once again hard at work building new tees and bunkers

Wow - absolutely fabulous course - I can't believe I've never played here before - this is a real jewel in the S.Yorkshire Crown.

On par with Crookhill (another council run course in Rotherham). Hardly any holes have back to back fairways, so if you play in the week, you might not see anyone else until you get back to the club house! Although more hill ythan Crookhill, still a great challenge. The 17th requires a short drive (200 yards) to a narrow entrance to a dog leg green. To long and you are in the trees, to short and you are chipping to get a view of the green.

I would recommend this course to anyone, greens flat, true, lovely roll, very nicely manicured, every hole is different, and a challenge, tree,s everywhere but fair, at £18.00 for a round midweek superb value. Pro shop well stocked and trial area, very friendly staff too.

Great Course

Course Played Well
Was in great condition but the rough is unforgiving this time of year. Even a roll into it would leave you scratching your head why you can't find your ball.(Round played: Jun 2021 - Score: 99 Handicap: )

Fantastic Layout
Played Grange park for the 1st time and I was impressed with the layout of the the course with some spectacular views,The greens were in great condition for this time of year ,Bad points The tee boxes are poor and lots of leaves on some fairways and also boggy in places with a bit more maintenance this could be a top courseReviewer Rating
