On the plus side its got some fun holes. With some attention and care it could be a decent course.

Try it and be pleasant suprised
Many things are said about Concord and not all of them are fair. It’s set next to a large park in a working class part of Sheffield and there are public rights away across the course. It’s obviously not got the same budget as some of the more top end courses around the Sheffield area, but it makes the most of what it does has, and it has been cared for, looked after and has improved a lot over the last few years and the money it has earned has been reinvested in the course and tidied it up a lot from what it was. The signage has been updated, bunkers full of sand and the Greens appeared to be true and looked after.
It’s ideal for beginners as most of the holes are challenging but not too difficult. The 4th and 7th are the toughest, the back nine is shorter and easier from that the front 9, but with the small Greens accurate Iron play is essential.
I’ll definitely be back again

cheap & cheerful
Struggled badly over last few seasons but course now beginning to show improvements.Fairways in good shape.Greens improving, bunkers thankfully temporarily [COVID19] GUR though. Hilly course and short but you need to know where to "miss". If you're not fussy about conditions this is a bargain any time of week. Driving Range & Club House now back open too.(Round played: Jul 2020 - Score: 87 Handicap: 13.8)

Great value for money Course
The course is under new ownership, recently taken over by Warren Allcroft who has beem the club pro for 20 + Years, Lots of work currently been done in the clubhouse and on the course. The course and greens are in the best condition I've seen for a few years and should be in good shape for the summer. Appears to be a good vibe up there at the moment, Range being revamped and new young pro Rob taken on board keen to give comprehensive lessons to Kids and Adults.(Round played: Mar 2019 - Score: 73 Handicap: 12.8)
