The course was in excellent condition. It had obviously been prepared to host the Banning Cup. The fairways were well maintained and the greens ran true

I’ve just read the previous review and that chap must’ve played another course, Tinsley is superb, yes the rough is long, that’s always been their, and only erranat shots or bad club choice will find it
The greens are excellent attention to detail from the staff is clear and it’s probably as good as a golf course as it’s ever been, I recommend giving it a try,
As for the £19 green fee at 5.30

That’s a round of drinks for your 4 ball these days, maybe do that instead of 4 hours looking for your ball

They’ve stopped cutting the grass. The course is in a dilapidated state. If I could have asked for a refund , I would.
And to be charged £19 for a round starting at 5.30pm is obscene. Private courses in the area aren’t much more expensive.

Nineteen pound twilight bargain!

Played this course at 3.30pm on a Friday for nineteen pounds and it was in great condition. For this price with hatched fairways, good greens and not many playing its an absolute steal. Yes there are some things about this course which are not so great, like parking and people wandering around the course. But you cannot fault it for this money.

Great little course, lousy facilities!

Lovely hilly layout, plenty of mature woodland , short but still challenging. No bar or food available.

Nice course for municipal standards, some challenging holes and a mixture of big par 5's, dog legs, different range par 3s

Course condition

The course is one to which i like a lot but the greens were not in as good a condition as normal on my last visit and parts of the course were very dry and could have done with some watering. Hopefully just a one off and will definitely be going again to see.

Great layout. Can't get a drink in the clubhouse. Greens need some work though. Alot of indentations and unrepairable pitch marks. Not the clubs fault more like the people that play there.

Nice course, poor greens

Decent layout with some interesting holes but greens were terrible, and not because of seasonal work. Hope that the recent 12.5% rise in midweek green fees is put back into improving the greens.
