Please take action, before its too late!!!

Played here Friday. Have played this course several times before and like playing it...but going downhill fast. Been hit and miss over the last few years but on Friday I have never seen it so bad which is a crying shame as it is a very nice course.entrance drive to it doesn't help. Not very inviting as you pull in and many pot holes all the way down to the club house.very welcoming staff ( but looks like they are rushed of their feet practically doing everything).no pro shop.practice facilities in disarray. Even has weeds in the fake grass on the practice putting green!!!. Tee boxes OK. ( maybe a little long). Fairways cut well but big lumps of grass cuttings everywhere. Semi rough way too long. Struggling to find balls in it. No sand in bunkers more like hard-core!. Majority of greens diseased!. Even have a feature of a burnt out tractor on one of the holes!!!!. As I said early it is a lovely course. Not boring ,challenging and well laid out. But can someone take responsibility for the state of the course. I know funding may not be there so maybe look for outside investment before it becomes building land...I know it is used as a wedding venue but that doesn't look too appealing these days. The potential at this club is unbelievable with the correct people in charge. Please take note of this review. I am only being honest and hopefully somebody will take note...BEFORE ITS TOO LATE!!!!

Really love the layout of this course. Some fantastic holes that was well design. Good par 3 a few long par 5 some dog legs hills plenty of bunkers. Really good layout in my opinion each hole feels different. Each time I played though the rough is more like a jungle. Really thick and long so if you miss the fairway which I do often your shot from the rough is unplayable that is if you can find the ball. With a few quid spent of the course it could be improved no end and become as fantastic as the design deserves it to be.

A great course being ruined by lack of investment

I grew up playing Grange Park and used to love the course. The course offers a real challenge and there are some very interesting holes. Unfortunately, when i played yesterday with a friend to whom I had recommended to course I was embarrassed. The fairways need cutting, the bunkers are almost all out of action with no sand, the tees are poor. Greens were ok though. What a great shame that a potentially great course is being allowed to deteriorate in such a way. Shame on members and staff

I heard that the course was vandalised last winter by tosses on motorcycles so I left it until the middle of summer before I played. I must say the ground staff have done a great job getting the course playable. A few bunkers were GUR but that wasn't a hardship having a free drop outside a bunker. Yes credit to the ground staff this course was in good condition.

Still in need of some TLC

Played here several times. When in good condition it is a very nice course to play. Unfortunately it has slipped back in to decline. Greens either diseased or damaged. Bunkers either being allowed to grow over of new ones created (but not finished). Fully understand that some golf clubs finances are stretched, but this course is in need of some investment to make people want to play here before its too late. Cannot fault the staff that we dealt with (very friendly and helpful). Would recommend but only when all the problems have been rectified

No holes the same

A lovely scenic little course, with super views. Can suffer with rain and a couple of nice hills. But one of my favourite local courses

Great Course

It was in really good condition for the time of year. Practice facilities were poor but that was due to relaying of the practice green.

Some lovely views

Good overall course, some challenging holes, a little hilly but that's to be expected in this part of the world, an excellent range just next door which is handy as a warm up before you begin. Only real negative is the private road down to the clubhouse is so full of potholes you could hide a battalion of SS stormtroopers in them. It's in a Terrible state
