The Garstang is a family owned hotel and has been built on land that has been in the family for over 200 years. There are 32 bedrooms, all of which come with en-suite facilities and a view of either the golf course or the beautiful countryside. The Kingfisher Restaurant provides excellent cuisine, freshly prepared with local produce and under the watchful eye of the talented chef. The Bradbeer Bar is open all day long and offers everything from breakfast, lunch and dinner to a refreshing drink after your round. The hotel is ideally situated in close proximity to many places including Blackpool, Preston and Lancaster, all of which offer something different.

Always open
I've played the course many times at all times of year and it is to its credit that it normally manages to stay open. The fairways are wide and the rough not too difficult, but the pin positions can be tricky so don't relax with the approach shot. For at least half of the year a high shot will be rewarded with a plugged ball, even on the fairway. I always feel some of the holes could have more interest, including the 1st and particularly the par 3 16th.Reviewer Rating

This Course suffers somewhat in Winter and Spring with heavy conditions, being parkland. Very little run on the ball, which can plug - even on fairways - on high shots.

Awful
Been playing here many years but this is the worst I’ve seen it. Balls plugging in fairways, rough a complete swamp. Greens like a garden lawn.Reviewer Rating

Great value
Pin positions were a bit tight, nothing in the middle of the green. Otherwise the course is in good condition, good mix of holes and very good VFM(Round played: Jul 2017 - Score: 80 Handicap: 10.7)

Wet Start but worth it!
Pouring with rain for first 3 holes but after that a very enjoyable day. Plenty of space for drives and a few hidden challenges on par 3s.(Round played: May 2017 - Score: 95 Handicap: 18.3)
