It's ok, that's about all you can say. It's attached to hotel so it's good for societies and guests but there is a reason they have no members and that's likely that the course isn't good enough.
Fairways and teebeds aren't cut short enough. Bunkers are iffy at best.
Greens were true but very slow.
Good food afterwards at least.

You wouldn't have thought it was 10 years old

This is a course which has serious potential, but really needs to have some serious investment on the club house, facilities and course to be classed as a good golf club.
It has no warm up facilities, with the exception of a putting green. Fairways are just a bit too long in grass length and a few extra hazrds wouldn't go amiss.
That being said the green keepers are doing a great job job all round.
It's technically a simple course to play, and houses some long par 4's which add the challenge, espescially as you come to the end of the round.

Not the best

Played here for the last few years and the course is not in good condition. The fairways are not good and it's not unusual to lose a ball plugged on the fairways. The first cut of rough is very rough and you can look for ball all day. On some holes you can't see where the fairway starts and ends. Most of the greens are good but the first is awful with bare patches and been like that for a couple of years now.

Last time I played here we were on winter tees so I was looking forward to seeing what the course was really like! Thoroughly enjoyable round with the course in excellent condition. Greens ran true and punishments await for being wayward. My only quibble, is the par 3 3rd hole should never be stroke index 4. Playing with two players who have two shots on a par 3 is beyond a joke! Despite the dangers around, I do think it is ridiculous!!

Mainly flat course, fairways and greens in good condition, let down with having no distance markings or directions to next tees

very enjoyable round with good company and the weather was perfect. Its a shame they have closed the driving range to a house builder was a good place to warm up before starting your round
