What the club says: The course has been described as not having any weak holes that provides a challenge to every golfer, especially the classic dogleg ninth, the demanding seventeenth known as 'Braids Best', and the daunting elevated tee to the final green below.

Always a joy to get a game on this prestigious course.Would definitely join here if it was just a bit closer to home. The course requires a bit of thought as the bunkers are perfectly placed in the fairways.Green side bunkers are equally well placed to protect the fastest greens that I have putted on in quite some time! - May 30 2017
Golfshake Team Review
There really aren't any weak holes at Lancaster Golf Club, which makes this course a must play if you're in the area. There is a great mix of holes and none more so than the last, which is a downhill par 3 towards the clubhouse. The facilities are excellent here and I can't stress enough how you must visit this course if you happen to be visiting the area. - Jul 26 2016
Golf Course Reviews for Lancaster Golf Club

Played the course on Friday 4th august 2017 when the course was pretty wet and all the bunkers were gur, yet still charged full price of £40 which in my opinion is about £10-£15 over priced. The setting is good but I found on that day the members were anti social none of the members who were going out in 2's would allow me to play with them (which would never happen at my club) so if you are going to play here make sure you are in a group.

Second time playing Lancaster GC and better than first time. Friendly welcome all round. Good food. Course in excellent condition, greens true and fairly quick. Well worth a game here for sure, one of the best in Lancashire.
