Value for money but layout disappointing
Played on a wet day and fairways were green and in reasonable condition although quite a few pitch marks. Greens were true. Course was generous though if you did stray off line the semi was heavy and balls stopped immediately. Layout only had a few interesting holes. As a singleton was stuck behind a mixed four that was painful.Reviewer Rating

An okay course
This is one of the more expensive courses local to me seeking ?50 per round but to be honest there are far more interesting courses offering more challenges and for a fraction of the cost. If you can get a deal to play it's worth a visit but not worth the high cost.Reviewer Rating

Over priced
Played the course on Friday 4th august 2017 when the course was pretty wet and all the bunkers were gur, yet still charged full price of £40 which in my opinion is about £10-£15 over priced. The setting is good but I found on that day the members were anti social none of the members who were going out in 2's would allow me to play with them (which would never happen at my club) so if you are going to play here make sure you are in a group.Reviewer Rating

lovely course
This is a lovely course that is challenging. Exceptionally maintained. Plays very long as all greens seem to be elevated and I thought I was always walking up hill. Club house is amazing and pro shop staff great.Reviewer Rating

Stormy but the only lightning was in the greens!
A wet and windy start but the course stood up well to the early heavy downpours. Greens drained quickly and the fairways were unaffected. Some challenging holes with some difficult greens and pin placements. The course in general was in excellent condition and the greens faster than anything I've played all year. It's an expensive place to play and in all honesty not worth the money asked online but if you get the chance to play Lancaster, take it.

Winter course so scores not reliable. But given the rain it was great it was open. Some temp greens and forward tees. Service from folks in the shop excellent.

The course was in excellent condition. Quickest greens i've played on this year all in all very good course, the 9th probably being the most memorable hole
