Very tidy course nice and flat but still challenging in places. £12 for 18 on twilight is also excellent value.

its a good corse but needs some work on the greens and fairway some are better than others

I must say that the reviews below did put me off about going the Lakes course. However, I am glad I did as I found the course to be in very good condition with beautiful greens, consistent and true, the best so far this year we have played on The bunkers had real sand in them with no stones - hurrah. The rough was quite punishing in areas but you could find a lot of other peoples balls when you lost one of yours! Very enjoyable course - will go again at £20.

Links style course can be quite a challenge in the wind. Nice use of hazards makes it a fair but challenging round for all. Loads of facillities at the complex and everything is always is great condition. The deep rough is a killer though! Bargain prices during the week are outstanding!

Two very different courses in excellent condition despite the weather on the weekend we played. 4* hotel with superb facilities and excellent staff in all departments.
Some very interesting holes with more than enough water to play across (for the brave) or around (for the sensible).

A challenging course, where you are encouraged to hit the ball straight, as there is not much room for error. Some very tricky technical holes, and all the greens are kept to a very high standard.
The greenkeepers keep the fairways, very clean and striped. And the bunkers have "GOOD" sand which begs you to hit through it. Overall I would say this course is a good test, which is built around a number of lakes. Not a hilly course, but lots of twist and turns ahead of you.
