Finchley really comes into its own in Summer. Greens very rapid. Toughest hole reachable in 2. Fairways were ok but thought they?d be more lush. Bunkers very variable. The feature 12th seemed to have concrete 1 inch below the surface. V disappointed kitchen closed again.

It's a nice course and a stunning club house. It has some open par 5's and almost drivable par 4's so you can score really well especially in the winter months. It also has some card wrecking holes, particularly the signature 12th hole, which can be a nightmare in the summer. The courses main protection is its fast greens which can be on the edge of playable in the summer. It's definitely worth playing and I'd recommend being a member too.Reviewer Rating

Fantastic course - good challenge and beautiful parkland in North London. Very slow pace of play at twilight tee, quite slow greens also.

stunning greens
glass greens, really difficult. Forgiving off the tee though. Interesting, well protected and tough greens. Reasonable price and decent chipping area. Not bad so central.(Round played: Jul 2020 - Score: 92 Handicap: 0)

Good greens
The greens were some of the best I have played this year, the fairways and tees were suffering from the hot summer. The first is a very short downhill par 4, the last is a great looking hole, but has a ditch across the fairway hidden from the tee at 210 yards (filling this ditch in would make this a great finishing hole), I dropped a shot after hitting a good drive into the ditch that I didn't know was there. The rest of the course has some interesting holes, the par fives are a bit generous (this would probably be a strong par 70). You can use tee times website to get very good value green fees.Reviewer Rating

Very pleasant course
Nice varied course with short and long par 4s. Very pleasant. Par 3 12 is evil, be warned.(Round played: Sep 2018 - Score: 90 Handicap: 19.7)

Challenging course well worth playing. Dry in patches due to dry weather, however, the greens are in excellent condition and were pretty quick when we played. Will definitely play again.
