Best course yet..!
Hidden from the Madding Crowd, this place is a gem. Fast greens and a varied length, it plays like a pro would play and encourages you to do your best. Wonderful!Reviewer Rating

Best greens I’ve ever played
Stunning greens, best greens I’ve played all year! Fairways are suffering due to no fairway irrigation, very tight golf course, challenging quick and true greens will play again thanksReviewer Rating

Excellent course. Well worth a visit
Finchley is a great test of your all round game. Narrow fairways, plenty of OOB, and undulating, quick greens, even in the very wet conditions played in today. A great mix of holes, ranging from short to long par 3's, 4's and 5's which made the round really enjoyable. There's few warm up nets, a small chipping area alongside and quite a small putting green, which if I was being over critical could do with being relocated from its present position and made a bit larger, it really is too small. The imposing historical looking clubhouse is welcoming and adds a touch of character to the place and the hospitality is first rate. There's a good selection of beer and excellent catering on hand. I'm going to return in the summer, as I'd like to see Finchley as its best. It was a tough test in the wet, windy conditions, but a thoroughly enjoyable one.(Round played: Oct 2019 - Score: 92 Handicap: 19)

Great visit
This course is in good condition and very scenic. Just make sure you wear a helmet as many tee box are dangerously situated and fairways are very close to each others...(Round played: Jun 2019 - Score: 88 Handicap: 14.1)

Fantastic layout and outstanding greens
Finchley offers an interesting and challenging layout. Some drivable par 4s tempt you with potential rewards and the undulating nature of the course add excitement. The greens were outstanding when I played there; firm, fast and very true.Reviewer Rating

Course is on the short side so big hitters will get to par 4s (or past the green) quite often but greens are really challenging and were in perfect condition.
We played during the week and there was not much people on the course which allowed for a relaxed round. Not the toughest course around there but very pretty an with intelligent challenges and short game matters a lot.
