What the club says: North Middlesex Golf Club, which is set in 74 acres of beautiful parkland, was established in 1905 and was designed by Willie Park Junior. . The course is 5,625 yards long with a par of 69. It has many attractive water features and has many, many mature and elegant trees.Ample free parking. Renowned for its lively and friendly atmosphere the Clubhouse boasts an excellent bar and function room overlooking one of the most picturesque finishing holes to be found anywhere in London.

Greens had been tended to & are no longer over rapid but had the feel of an astroturf 5G with small pieces that made them slower & hard to read. I miss the old bowl Green in the 2nd & the 3rd is now too short but all that aside it was good to be back.

monthly medal and president cup qualifier
Course in great shape just needs another couple of weeks to dry out. It will be fast in July when i have a society going there.Very friendly atmosphere every time i have played there.

A GEM IN NORTH LONDON
I am a bit biase as i have been a member there since 1996 and is a short walk away.It is an enchanting place to play and meet all kinds of nationalities there and they have a very friendly bar and catering staff.

Course in great shape and greens like lightning.
Only query i would have is that the rough off the fairways is very long therefore players are searchimg for balls causing slow play.

A GEM IN NORTH LONDON
There has been a lot of work carried out by the Greenkeepers over the last two or three years on both the fairways rough areas and especially the greens.Now that spring is approaching the course will be in exceptional shape for the summer.

Frankly I was dissappointed at how the winter's ravages had still not shown signs of full recovery. In winter it gets v wet & the hot summer maybe hasnt helped recovery so fairways patchy at best, greens were true but on the slow side

pearl of golf london
Ground quite hard and bare in places but good for short drives as the ball roles an extra few yards.Greens are excellent and run very true always a pleasure to play there.
Excellent hospitallity and friendil club.

Great course in whetstone close to all travel options ie tube 15 minute walk and bus stop outside from station.

What a great day and what fast and true greens. All of us had a great score and the rain kept away till the 17th.
Highly recommend the club and course but no buggies available at present

Tactical gem
Big fan of North Mid - no two holes the same, and some unique holes such as the Par 4 10th where the green is guarded by a hedge, taking the drive out of play for long hitters.Greens challenging and in very good condition. Not particularly long, but a very tactical course.

Having played Trent Pk also in Jan 20 & there?s been less rain since then, it was a surprise to find 2 holes closed (which we?d not been told about in the pro shop), 5 temp greens & 16 small area mats from which to tee from. Really disappointed. One to avoid in winter or when it's been wet. Members I met were very disgruntled.

The nearest course to central London
The greens were excellant and some fairways had a bounce.So considering the time of year and the heavy rain a most enjoyable days work. Very friendly 19th and a new face in the gilf shop.

tricky course
Love this place. it was a tough day out there with the wind. But you really need toy think your way around here. Clubhouse is very friendly and had an enjoyable day.(Round played: Aug 2019 - Score: 107 Handicap: 27.3)

Always in good shape
My game finally matched up to the shape of this little gem. Greens were fab, it's a short but sufficiently tricky course to provide a good challenge. Food and hospitality very welcoming too. Great Thai curry post match in the clubhouse.(Round played: Jul 2019 - Score: 79 Handicap: 10.5)

tricky test
Course you probably need to pay a few times. 5 par 3s well protected by bunkers, 18th a great 200 yard hole in front of the clubhouse. two decent par 5s back to back, the second especially needs a well paced tee shot. With the par 4s, apart from low index holes probably only need 5 wood or rescue off tee, more about position than length off tee. A relatively short walk so worked well for twilight 2 ball.(Round played: May 2019 - Score: 83 Handicap: 9.7)

Course was in great condition! Last week I played it and it was really wet and didn’t look great, but after a month of rain I suppose it must of been difficult to get things done especially as it’s clay based! But after playing today what a turn around! Amazing what dry conditions can do! And clearly hard work from the head Greenkeeper!

Poor. Played this course for years but today was a low point. Ok it’s been a tough winter but tees, fairways and greens not good at all. I hope they sort it out.
