Muswell Hill Golf Club in North London is the most central of all premier golf courses in London. A mature parkland course which is a good test of golf for all handicaps
Founded in 1893, Muswell Hill Golf Club, London, is a par 71 parkland golf course and a great test which has recently hosted both the men’s and women’s Middlesex Amateur Golf Championships.
The tree-lined, undulating fairways and outstanding greens are a pleasure to play and the final stretch is probably the toughest finish among golf courses in London.

Best in North London
For an urban course this is a peaceful, challenging, well maintained and very hospitable course and club. Greens are outstanding and the slope rating (difficulty) is justifiably high.Reviewer Rating

Recovering
Guessing that there’s a lot of traffic over winter as still plenty of worn areas & marked out areas for trolleys & buggy’s to go around & drop areas. In short still plenty of spring & summer to recover the fairways but the greens & tees are in very good condition.Reviewer Rating

Close to town but…
A very popular course given its proximity to London but TBH it looked a bit scraggy with worn areas away from the greens & fairways & plenty of marked GUR where areas haven’t recovered from winter or the heavy use of the course hasn’t allowed it to. That aside the course has plenty of varied holes & the greens can be tricky to read & are in typical Braid style protected. I’m not sure I’d rush back before next summer & at £60 per visitor green fee I don’t feel encouraged to.Reviewer Rating

Much maintenance
The Club is clearly investigating heavily in drainage across the course. Last winter they were closed for most of two months due to water logging.Reviewer Rating

Amazing greens
The greens were top class - lightning quick but so true. Some tricky holes with tight OOB off the tee, or hidden ditches. Would need to have played there before to start exceling at this course. Impressed it was dog friendlyReviewer Rating
