tricky test

Course you probably need to pay a few times. 5 par 3s well protected by bunkers, 18th a great 200 yard hole in front of the clubhouse. two decent par 5s back to back, the second especially needs a well paced tee shot. With the par 4s, apart from low index holes probably only need 5 wood or rescue off tee, more about position than length off tee. A relatively short walk so worked well for twilight 2 ball.

love the course just so so dissapointed with the tee's being so uneven, very off putting not being able to stand at the tee knowing that the ball is sometimes above then below your feet, hope you can correct this problem.

Tactical gem

Big fan of North Mid - no two holes the same, and some unique holes such as the Par 4 10th where the green is guarded by a hedge, taking the drive out of play for long hitters.
Greens challenging and in very good condition. Not particularly long, but a very tactical course.

Always in good shape

My game finally matched up to the shape of this little gem. Greens were fab, it's a short but sufficiently tricky course to provide a good challenge. Food and hospitality very welcoming too. Great Thai curry post match in the clubhouse.

Poor. Played this course for years but today was a low point. Ok it’s been a tough winter but tees, fairways and greens not good at all. I hope they sort it out.

Such a great course!

You wouldn't know you are in the middle of North London here! Such a great but challenging course. Some great bunker locations, many greens surrounded by them so you have to be quite accurate!
Very very good value for the money as well.

Surprisingly dry for this time of year,greens a bit bumpy but true.

Good condition all round and very good companion to plat with.
Staff are very nice and food is excellent, would definately call again.

Make sure you use a voucher to ensure good value. Picturesque course especially at the last few holes, lovely 18th up to the club house. Bit samey in the middle for a few holes across a valley. It was muddy and wet when we went despite a fine day, I\'m told this is an ongoing problem but to be fair it didn\'t detract too much. No notice of two temp greens was annoying! \Good staff and friendly members. Decent round to be had.

Greens had been tended to & are no longer over rapid but had the feel of an astroturf 5G with small pieces that made them slower & hard to read. I miss the old bowl Green in the 2nd & the 3rd is now too short but all that aside it was good to be back.

monthly medal and president cup qualifier

Course in great shape just needs another couple of weeks to dry out. It will be fast in July when i have a society going there.


Very friendly atmosphere every time i have played there.

A GEM IN NORTH LONDON

I am a bit biase as i have been a member there since 1996 and is a short walk away.
It is an enchanting place to play and meet all kinds of nationalities there and they have a very friendly bar and catering staff.

Course in great shape and greens like lightning.

Only query i would have is that the rough off the fairways is very long therefore players are searchimg for balls causing slow play.
