A fine sunny day, The greens had been sandied so very fast. A very pleasant day and the 19th was excellent.

Lovely course and beautiful settings. Very close to Central London and I look forward to playing again if invited by my member friend.

We were made to feel very welcome despite missing our tee time by over an hour due to heavy traffic jams. Staff were helpful and friendly fitting us in straight away. The course was in great condition despite recent rain. Fairways greens and tee boxes all in good nick... The course is tight in places with a good variety of holes. As previously mentioned there were regular shouts of "fore" but let's be honest, we are club golfers, not pro's. I would rather people shout than not bother at all. My only negative about our visit was that the buggy we used sounded like a teenagers moped... apart from this, I would thoroughly recommend a visit to this course...

I came and played a pay and play round yesterday with a friend over from America. We would like to say how much we enjoyed it and the warm welcome we received. Haven't played here for years. A very mature hilly parkland course. Lots of blind shots over ridges. Overall in good condition but some bunkers had water in them and sand was soggy.

Greens now perfect in terms of pace & receptiveness. Fairways good but still a little patchy here & there. Still no real ales in the bar but food v passable.
