The course was looking very good for the time of year. The only bad thing was the foggy weather which didn't clear till gone 4.00pm

Excellent greens and friendly staff. Due to the hot weather there is at least 2-3 clubs more run on the ball. Even I was driving 275 yds! Great outlook by the North Sea

If you live within fifty miles of this course it is a must play course. I have played here four times in the last three years and it has been in excellent condition, the staff and members are friendly and helpful and the Fish and Chips the best you will get anywhere. Weather conditions are the deciding factor on how hard this course plays but if you get a good day you will be hard pushed to beat it.

Felixstowe is a gem of a links golf course situated right next to the sea so the elements can really effect the outcome of the course. IN true links style minimum trees and a fair amount of heather, dunes and fast paced greens provides a real good test of golf.
Perfect condition and perfect scenery.

very good food and friendly atmosphere amongst the members. course was very enjoyable with changes to bunkers being made for the future

Tough course to play in winter time, but it was dry when essex was a bog. Tough test, liked the conditions and greens. Helpful pro. Thumbs up!

Course is a links type, with views over the sea and surrounding farmland. Fairways are tight and greens receptive

I've played here a few times and it's a challenge when it's windy. It's exposed to the North Sea and with the wind blowing makes some of the par 5's difficult to reach in regulation.There is a nine hole course too if you want to do 27 holes! The staff are really welcoming and the fish'n'chips are to die for!
