One of the best links courses i have ever played fantastic condition one of the aspects is that standing on the first t you can see the whole course on a clear sunny day if its windy its a tough test of golf ive played it quite a few times and to be honest ive never played it with no wind , greens are tough to read with undulating changes fairways are quite wide but the rough is tough to find your ball deep pot bunkers protect greens and also some along fairways club house is friendly and the food has always been a good quality

Seaside sensation
Such an enjoyable layout. Greens were in great condition, fairways heavily trodden but pretty good considering how popular and lack of rain in run up to round. Very hospitable club. If only I hadn't messed up the 2x par 5s would have had the perfect day! Still left something to go back and address. Fabulous all round experience regardless.(Round played: Jul 2020 - Score: 85 Handicap: 10.1)

Superb Links
Absolutely stunning true links course. Absolute bargain at £50. I’ve played a lot of links golf and this is up there with some of the best. Very welcoming as well. Would highly recommend

Great Links Course
Love playing at Felixstowe, its a tough course given the wispy rough and strong winds coming in off the sea.You will get some holes down wind that are scorable, then likewise back into wind and you will be hitting long irons into the green.
The greens are fairly subtle in places but a few are devilish. Some great pot bunkers protecting the greens and fairways.
Some lovely view on offer too, especially on the back 9.

Pray for no wind!!
If the wind is blowing this is the course to test your links golf!!

Exceeded expection
Just brilliant!Great practice facility, amazing course - scary first tee shot with main road in play.
Last 6 holes are my favourite stretch of holes anywhere around.

Seaside Fun
I love going back to Felixstowe every so often as it is a great test of links golf.Depending on how thew weather is will depend how difficult this course plays. The fairways are fairly wide but running out of room is fairly likely. There are some holes that require some thinking from the tee and picking the correct lines is important.
The greens are quick and true and there are some tough pot bunkers to negotiate.
All round great links course right on the sea.

Fantastic challenge

Great Links Course
Weather was great, little wind, course hard and luck of the bounce needed, greens excellent, good fish'n'chips afterwards...what more can I say?(Round played: Aug 2018 - Score: 99 Handicap: 17.1)

Great links course
Needs to be played on a dry not too windy day but a very good links course well worth a visit.

Lovely links course
Worth visiting at least twice - sunny calm day and sunny windy day - just for the fun factor.(Round played: Jul 2017 - Score: 107 Handicap: 24.6)

Challenging
An excellent, challenging 18 hole links course.Wind can make this a very challenging course but well worth a visit.

Excellent customer service
Having played the course a couple of weeks ago I realised I'd left my golf shoes in the changing room. I contacted the club, explaining that I lived a fair way away (no pun intended). They not only found my shoes and posted them to me, but they cleaned them as well!!! Absolutely delighted, I'll be back next year with my Society. Thank you Felixstowe Ferry.

Great course near the sea

The course was looking very good for the time of year. The only bad thing was the foggy weather which didn't clear till gone 4.00pm
(Round played: Mar 2017 - Score: 90 Handicap: 13.6)

(Round played: Mar 2017 - Score: 78 Handicap: 8.4)

Greens are fairly fast for this time of year and the fairways/Greens/Rough all have great definition and all in excellent condition.
Bunkers seems to be in great shape as well and always looking to improve them.
Depending on how high the wind is depends on how much fun you will have!
