What the club says: Our well-maintained nine hole golf course offers a thoroughly enjoyable game for all players. With five par 3s and four par 4s, the course runs along the river saltings and, with a backdrop of woodland on three sides, enjoys stunning, south facing views across the river Orwell. A superb golf course which caters for the golfer seeking a pleasant, relaxed, informal game.

Lovely little course- great views

Well maintained course set on the edge of the River Orwell - lots of sand and obstacle to contend and uses their space effectively in course design

Hidden gem with great views over the river

This course is hidden awa6 from the main road at priory park. For £15 on a weekday this is a bargain. It is a 9 hole but can be played twice for 18 holes. The staff are friendly and helpful and the course is exceptionally well maintained. Great couple of longer Par 4s. Great fun and challenging trees in the centre of the fairways.

Tricky course with small fairways

Lovely location close to the banks of the River Orwell. The course is a good test of accuracy as the fairways are narrow with lots of out of bounds areas. More suited to iron players as hole 9 is the only hole a driver can be played. Worth a visit to improve the iron shots and approach play in a picturesque setting.

Tricky 9 hole course to play. Many overhanging trees and ditches. Must be straight or will be in trouble with some difficult escape routes. Pleasant and tricky little course set in wonderful scenery. The bottom of the course runs along side the river Orwell with views right down to Felixstowe Quay.

(Round played: Jun 2015 - Score: 97 Handicap: 26.5) Fantastic little course. Not long but very tight. Each hole gives you food for thought and it's many, many trees act like muggers to wayward balls. Brilliantly maintained. Can't wait to visit again!

Great location, tight and tricky little course. Greens getting better but could do with some rain/ more watering. Shame about the damage done to the 9th green in the winter so still on a temporary green.
