Fynn Valley Golf Club is one of England Golf’s Most Welcoming Golf Clubs and is set in the rolling countryside of rural Suffolk in Witnesham, near Ipswich. A friendly, family-run Club where members and visitors enjoy the extensive golfing facilities as well as the stunning surroundings of the modern oak-framed Café Terrace Clubhouse, Café and Events venue.
In addition to the picturesque parkland 18 hole course, the club offers a 9 hole Par Three course, 22 bay floodlit covered golf range, practise greens and bunker, golf lessons, golf shop, FootGolf and is based in a fantastic modern premises, the Fynn Valley Cafe Terrace, which opened in October 2018.
East Anglia has many great golf courses – make sure you include Fynn Valley in your visit! Make a real break of it and stay at Fynn Valley Holidays – on site luxury five star holiday lodges providing a five star gold level of self-catering accommodation.

Demise of a once good course
Tee boxes poor.... pretty much all just dust and no obvious maintenance plan or winter plan.Greens poor, pitted, spongy and untrue, and for some strange reason been made bigger with extra cut around the edges. Worst greens I have played on in Suffolk.
Fairways okay but grass quality average.
Bunkers...some decent sand and good generally.
Lots of unfinished projects around the course and club. Some Bunkers decommisioned and water features empty.
I can not see any improvements and can only see the greens getting worse over the winter.

needs some work

Great little Par 3
The Par 3 9 Hole at Fynn Valley is great. Costing only £10 in the week and taking about an hour it is challenging and requires you to know the yardage of your irons. Great course and well maintainedReviewer Rating

Very good!
Very enjoyable, would love to play in summer! Lots of upgrades to a course that has more than enough variety and good flow(Round played: Feb 2022 - Score: 117 Handicap: 34.5)
