Main course in great condition considering the recent bad weather. Tee’d off at 7.30am and played 18 for a tenner. Can’t go wrong. Friendly staff in the clubhouse. Now sat in the sun with a pint and a BLT. Can’t get any better. Spot on.

Good municipal course. Well kept and good value.
Long course though and difficult when wet to get near the par score

The latest reviews are complete rubbish, this is a well kept course, decent club house and is extremely good value for money. We did a Groupon deal, but even without it its still good value. Food was good value too, 3.50 for a plate of chicken and chips. Staff were very friendly and I would play this course again in a heartbeat. I have gave it all 5 stars to give it a bit more credit from the recent reviews. People expect too much, its a good course and is fairly priced. Recommended. Par 3 course is good practice for short game too (although last hole is still 210 yards!!)

The Course at the minute is in great shape, very nice fairways, greens need looking after. could also do with more bunkers and or water. cheap golf never too busy unless your behind a comp.

First time back after 2 years and forgot what a great course this is
wide forgiving fairways and great open greens
fairways good and green good length of grass lets hit 3 woods off the deck sweetly
some sweet strikes today like the 2nd on the first set up a birdie 4
was very happy with my round some quality strikes today
roll on next week

played in 30'c heat and it showed at the end of the round lol
rain earlier in the week kept fairway fresh, although the rough was not long was lush so caused us some difficulty hitting or even finding balls
but the birdie 2 on the 4th was just the most stunning shot Ive ever hit, flag behind the bunker but still put the ball 2 ft away great
over all good day been had by all

Lovely wide fairways forgiving to the max
Fairways were slightly longer grass than last week did make the balls fly
but did let me hit the 3wood off the deck beautifully
Greens were slower that last week made it hard to 2 put which killed my round off

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the course, it has a nice relaxed nature and good value for money, will go again, the pace of play was a little slow but i didnt mind that at all, i prefer that than feeling rushed.Reviewer Rating

Excellent value for money
I love this course. Just when you think you have tamed it, it comes back to bite you. A great mix of holes, all in 9 holes.My only criticism would be the lack of sand and proper sand at that in the bunkers. I know the bunkers are there not to be in but when you do have the misfortune to be in it's bad news.
Please don't be put off playing here, just stay out the bunkers :-)
