What the club says: The Open course comprises a front nine built around a stunning lake and a back nine featuring mature trees and open fairways.
The Masters course is designed in part by Peter Alliss and combines ancient hedgerows and undulating fairways with large greens and strategically placed water hazards.
What Golfshake says: Open - New owners have changed the way you play the course but for the btter. As always in great condition and a tough test of golf. A lot of different holes.
Masters - A great beginners course or one for low handicappers to get some confidence up. But relax at your peril, you can still find danger here and putting on good undulating greens is tough.

Fantastic day lovely course
Really enjoy a course with a lot of water which the Signature has plenty of. ,11(Round played: Sep 2020 - Score: 87 Handicap: 20.4)

Good Course

Beautiful well manicured course
The course is kept in great conditions. Some signage directing from one hole to another could be made more visible. But this is just nit picking. Excellent course.(Round played: Aug 2020 - Score: 82 Handicap: 14.5)

Golf
The Nottinghamshire is a really great golfing venue that has really matured nicely over the last few years , lots of great holes(Round played: Jul 2020 - Score: 92 Handicap: 16.3)

(Round played: Jul 2020 - Score: 105 Handicap: 23.3)

Great condition
Course in great condition. Fast greens. A thinking course where you need to plot your way around. It’s not all about the driver.(Round played: Jun 2020 - Score: 86 Handicap: 16.3)

Very nice course
Considering the difficult circumstances we are going through they course was in fantastic condition and it was a Merit to all the staff on site as they were brilliant!

Give it a miss

Superb facility
Fantastic course, even in 21mph winds. Only one hole boggy after a terrible winter. Don't need to convince the lads to come here more often, the venue did that by itself.

Great course
Great course and brilliant day out. Challenging but enjoyable. Plenty of water!! Would recommend fully

Brilliant course
Challenging enough, but once you've played this you will want to play the Championship course.

Aug 2019
Fantastic all round, rooms, food, golf, great value

Great golf break - brilliant staff.
Really enjoyed courses, particularly the Championship.Prolinged torrential rain meant bunkers were all waterlogged but that's understandable.
Rooms were great.
Food and drinks really good and we'll priced.
Staff couldn't have been more helpful.
We'll be back.

Hard but Fair
Quite a difficult course if you haven't played it before. You need to know where to put the ball to give you the best chance at the greens. You will get punished for any stray shots and there is plenty of water to upset your round

Superb
Played the championship course it was in superb condition the greens were some of the best I have played on and the clubhouse and shop were also fantastic

A must visit
Two great courses to choose from, great pace of play, great course condition.

Great for Society Golf
Good value for money for societies and fair challenge. The new club house is excellent and improvements to the course have made a significant difference especially off the white tees.
