What the club says: The course is an enjoyable and scenic parkland course. The first nine holes offers the chance to build a good score offering a number of birdie opportunities if you play accurate iron shots to the greens. However the back nine can soon claw back birdies made, with holes 13 to 18 always proving a good test particularly in the prevailing wind.
We are proud of our reputation in the area for the condition of the course/greens.

Lovely course, in really good condition. Bit unfair to judge the facilities as in partial lockdown still, but the fish and chips were excellent.

Great course - not long but still tricky
Great course in good condition. Some challenging holes and two par 5's to finish was a test on a warm muggy day! But thoroughly enjoyable old style course - mature and greens in great condition(Round played: Jul 2020 - Score: 90 Handicap: 17.8)

A hiden Gem for sure.
Having heard positive reviews ahead of playing Stanton for the 1st time my expectations were High and Stanton did not disappoint. It's a lovely course and the greens excellent. Excellent course and well maintained

Excellent society venue
last visited in april 2016 and my positive comments are still justified.This is a great society venue with a very friendly welcome to our party. Despite the greens being sanded that morning they were in good order and very true.I like the layout of this course as it is a very strategic construction.Accurate tee shots are required with errant ones being heavily punished.Food and hospitality were superb and our party of 32 were unanimous in praise of this facility.Reviewer Rating

A real gem in beautiful condition with lightening fast true greens with hardly a mark. Nice to see the green staff watering through the day #BigThumbsUp to that.
Course layout excellent but not overly long but you need to be accurate, assistant pro was a great help and made us extremely welcome. We will be back especially when its foc #1906 member club

Lovely course, with probably the best greens i have played this year. All hand mowed and running at 9.5 on stimp when we played (impressive due to the rain). I would come back here just to putt on the greens again they were that good!

Quality on all levels. Straight from the first hole you get a good impression of what you're in for. Has lots of character, rewards good shots and punishes bad shots. Greens were quality running around 12 on the stimp. Welcomed in the pro-shop and the clubhouse after. Best course I've visited in The Midlands!
