Drift Golf Club, Surrey is an 18 hole, par 73 (6443 yard), parkland golf course designed by Sir Henry Cotton and architect Robert Sandow opened in 1975. Very close to the M25/A3 and Effingham railway.

Enjoyable parkland course
Fairways lined with trees and intelligent bunker positions. Greens were in great condition for any time of year, especially good as we played in March. Some of the par 3's were long and challenging. New Trackman driving range now open which looked great. We'll play Drift again.(Round played: Mar 2022 - Score: 99 Handicap: 19.2)

Downpour just b4 we played
However, course drained reasonably well. Few puddles, grens very resceptive no roll from height but still reasonably slick. Tee boxes, sanded and a little lop-sided. Few flat lies. Baunker very wet but no standing water. Very difficult to get out of. Most holes fairly straight and tree lines but not always thick and plenty of width afforded the average golfer. Overall, would play again.(Round played: Sep 2021 - Score: 92 Handicap: 15.6)

The drift
Unfortunately the greens had been hole Tined so spoilt a very good course on the day.having played before It is a fine challenging course and when the new driving range is finished a n excellent Golf course with great facilities.Reviewer Rating

Good tree lined course in good condition despite no rain for 4/5 weeks.some fairways showing signs of drought and looking bare and hardpacked. All greens were good as well as tees. New driving range being added at present which limits any practice areas

Nice course
Haven't played "The Drift" for a while. Last time it was in the autumn with loads of leaves, this time it was a nice sunny day and the course was in good condition. Thoroughly enjoyed it.Reviewer Rating

Beautiful tough course
This course is up there with some of the finest in Surrey. Fairways and Greens were immaculate. Back 9 longer and tougher in my opinion.(Round played: Jun 2019 - Score: 91 Handicap: 17)

Good Challenge
Nice course with challenging holes and tricky greens.Practise facilities could be a bit better but well worth a visit.
