What the club says: The course was designed by Neil Coles and Brian Hugget and opened for play in 1976. Whilst it is not a long course by modern standards, the combination of tree lined fairways and the succession of water holes makes it a particularly challenging course. Playing to your handicap is a real achievement at Silvermere.

Poor Condition

A good course in poor condition, the fare ways were patchy and looked as if been overplayed during the summer. Disappointed as the course didn't live up to its reputation.

Beautiful setting

You arrive admiring the views and layout of the course. Some of the holes do need a bit of TLC and repairing divots doesn't seem high of the priority list. That said the course is set in an area of beauty.

Solid Course

Fantastic practice facilities and a good course. The last two holes make for a memorable finish with a large lake in play. Good course for south west Londoners who don't want to travel too far.

Great course

First visit to Silvermere GC, and not disappointed.
Fantastic facilities, from the bar to the pro shop, from the driving range to the actual course.
Course is well maintained, and greens very quick. The closing 2 holes involving shots over the lake, are the best last 2 holes I have played at any course.
Will definitely be going back to Silvermere again soon.

Company Golf Day - Awesome Day

2019 was the 3rd year we had our golf day at Silvermere. Helen and the Team are an absolute pleasure to work with and the entire Team (Golf Team, Starters, Restaurant) were super friendly and supportive throughout. Even though we are not a particularly big group, they couldn't do enough to support us. The facilites, food and service was all excellent and we will be back in 2020. Thank you Team Silvermere.

Awesome day out

Silvermere is a must for golfers wanting a five star experience both on and off the course. As Secretary of my society I deal with golf courses on a daily basis and Fiona and the team made it as easy as I have ever experienced organising a golf day. This however is nice but not essential, the best service in the world means very little when the course doesn’t deliver but thankfully the condition of the course elevated the experience even further. The course is challenging yes, but fair. The fairways, greens and rough are consistent and reward solid golf. We have a range of handicaps from 28 to stroke and all have expressed how much they enjoyed the course and if there are a better two finishing holes on a public course I have yet to find them! Once we were all finished on the course we enjoyed the hospitality of the stunning 19th hole, enjoying a pint whilst watching others attempt the challenging closing holes. In my view Silvermere represents real value, from the care and consideration of the sales team, quality of the food and drink and last but by no means least, the quality of them course. Get yourself down there ASAP!

Silvermere is always a joy to play. There is a wide variety of holes and 17 and 18 are great finishing holes. The first 6 holes are tight and then it opens up as you cross the road. The course is running well due to the sun but the greens are still in good condition.

Really like this course. The practice facilities are brilliant. The course is challenging and well maintained, with two great finishing holes over the lake. The golf shop is excellent. Cant fault this course.

Great dsy out

I hosted my lady captains away day at Silvermere this May. The staff were very helpful throughout the whole process. Delicious bacon and sausage rolls for breakfast followed by a touch of shopping , such a fantastic range of ladies clothing!! 18 holes of golf on a very pretty and a little tricky course absolutely loved the last 2 holes such fun trying to get over the lake. Pace of play - I had 29 ladies in my group and we all took about 3 3/4 to 4 hours in 3 balls. A nice G&T on the terrace overlooking the lake followed by a tasty two course meal. Would definitely recommend for a society golf day *****
