What the club says: Burhill Golf Club is set in beautiful Surrey parkland. The Clubhouse, a luxurious Georgian Mansion, is steeped in history and dates back to 1726. The Golf Club was established in 1907 by the Guinness family.

The Old and New golf courses offer two contrasting challenges. The Old course, designed by Willie Park and opened in 1907, is a mature course known as one of the finest in Surrey. The New Course with greens built to USGA specifications, is modern in style and incorporates many water hazards including the river Mole. Both provide an interesting round of golf for all players.

New course is great
A very well kept golf course. Fairways nice, tees fine, greens fantastic - quite quick and with subtle borrows.

Good modern test of golf
One of two courses at the prestigious Burhill club, the New Course is a fairly exacting but fair test of golf. Despite having a number of water hazards dotted about, and after a wet summer, the courses was in fantastic shape for the start of November. The greens had been hollow tined within a month but were running quick a fairly true. A good variety of par 5s, one that is certainly reachable after a good drive, long and short par 4s, this is an interesting layout. One of the best courses I've played this year.

Burhill Old Course
Invited by a member of Bur Hill to play the Old Course which was in excellent condition even though the first October rains had visited.
Greens excellent and the course is as you would expect for a long established course, a mature picturesque golf course

Disappointment
Played the old course. Played twice before and enjoyed. However, this time around lots of bare patches on all fairways and some very poor conditions and lies. Shame as not cheap. Hope it improves quickly.

A lovely setting and the course was in excellent condition. The greens had recently been treated so weren't as good as they could have been, but they ran pretty true and we got a discount off the green fee which was good. Generally a very nice place to spend an afternoon.
