5 Years since I have played at Cottesmore. Wow! What a turn around. I played the Griffin, the greens were amongst the best that I have played on all year and the new layout is tremendous. I had been told of its improvement but I was still blown away. Speaking to players in the clubhouse, the 9 hole phoenix is an even bigger improvement. One of the best venues in the south now.

The Griffin course has now been redesigned and is approximately 500 yards longer. This makes playing a whole lot more interesting. The course generally is very well looked after by an expert team of green keepers.

Played this course as part of an overnight package, short but not easy as you need to plot your way round, very pretty and in good condition.

Enjoyable round. The course is in great condition at the moment and I can't really fault it. Very much a track where you have to think your way round.
