Home course, On top of a huge hill so plays like a links course.
Lots of blind shots into the greens, lots of wind, although can be forgiving off the tee due to no big trees.

A truly unique and rewarding golf experience. Sharing the course with sheep causes you to pause and consider the origins of the game. Course conditions are excellent, layout is challenging, people are friendly, food is good, cost is reasonable ....all in a setting that is scenic and memorable. Only regret: as a visitor to Cheltenham, I'm not able to play Cleeve Hill on a regular basis (with my golf buddies back home).

Match enjoyed in sunshine, very light breeze with the ball running a long way due to prolonged dry spell.

A great course with some great views. The greens were running quite fast so gave a stern test.

Played the course with my son and we loved every minute of the round. Cleeve Hill gives you a golf experience in its purest form with sheep all over the course and fairways that lean right and left to blend the landscape.
I would come back and play this course week after week and never get bored as the wind changes the dynamic of every hole dependant on which way it blows. One hole you are hitting your Sunday best 180 yards into the wind, the next hitting 350 with the wind from an elevated tee....breathtaking.
Greens amazing, views amazing course amazing! Golf on the day doesn't deserve a review!

The name of the club says it all. Wow some of those holes were brutal. However very enjoyable. The views from some of the holes were quite breathtaking. If you are looking for a good challenging day out then give this a chance. Not to easy to find if a visitor, but worth the effort. We had a great meal after our round, although a small clubhouse it was very clean and well looked after.

If you want to play a course with excellent views and is good value for money Cleeve Hill GC is the one.A short course but when the wind is up it plays twice that. Is a course suitable for golfers who cant hit straight as it is very open and you cant go wrong. The course is also popular with walkers and id advise you give it a miss on weekends and bank holidays as it gets very busy and you will be waiting over most of your shots for walkers to get out of the way.

A great but challenging course. Fairways and greens are good and as each hole is different, the round is made more interesting than your average course.
