This is a very accessible golf course! The staff are very friendly and helpful! The actual course is wide open and the rough is cut down, good for us amateurs! This helps to keep games flowing along! Stroke index 1 is a very hard hole, play like a par 5, is the best bet!

The mature trees give this course a well established feel which belies its youth. Greens and fairways are cut nice and tight and roll was true. The amount and placement of trees and bunkers bring balance to what is a fairly short course which remains a decent test. Well worth a look.

Good day at Clays course in reasonable shape but greens were slow and bumpy due maintenance. Facilities excellent and food good value

We went there on a wet wet day, but the course was still holding up fine. 13 holes were operational. Apart from the weather, the greens were quick and well maintained and so was the fairway.
Will definitely recommend.

I got this round of golf plus 60 balls on the driving range and a sausage barm and cup of coffee on a groupon deal for £8.50 per person which was excellent value for money, the course was in great condition with some very interesting holes and the weather was tremendous which was a welcome bonus.

Played mid feb 12. Great club house and facilities. Got a groupon so only cost 10 pounds. Course id good, bit boggy but you have to expect that this time of year. Also quite narrow. I think it wiould be great in the summer though, looks like they look after it

Nice friendly staff in the shop. Course plays very well even after the recent heavy rain. Greens immaculate and run true. Well manicured. Some cheap tee times available on web and club direct
