What a difference

I played here last year in the summer, the course was running fast and it was exceptionally dry. Turning up this year you can really see how hard the greenstaff have been working in these hot and dry conditions. Teeing areas now have definition and the aprons around the greens look fantastic. Tees, greens and aprons are well watered considering. You need to go and play this little gem!

It Gets Better

Played here the other night and the greens were fantastic, teeing areas as good as I’ve seen for a while, fairways cut with a nice length of grass that gives the feeling that the ball is sat nice and ready to be hit. Love what they are doing with the aprons and also the walkways from the tees. Bunkers are some of the best I’ve played in a long time due to a load of new sand being put into each one (can really see the time, effort and cost that’s gone into them).

Hidden gem

Super course that's long off the back tees. Angus and Phil are fantastic with a proper love for the game.

Been a member at Churchill and Blakedown for a couple of months now and even during that time I've seen a massive improvement in the condition of the course considering the unsettled whether we had over the winter. Since joining I have been welcomed with open arms and feel like a valued member already, very friendly and would highly recommend to any golfer. I'm really enjoying my golf at the moment and I put a lot of this down to Churchill and Blakedown.

Pleasantly Surprised At This Time Of Year

Played here the day after another deluge of rain but you wouldn't have known.
Very dry course, tests all aspects of your game. Great mix of holes
even though it's 9 holes the back nine has one different green and majority
of different tees giving totally different outlook to the front 9. Bunkers were top notch
and the greens were true and surprisingly quick. Def worth a visit.

Lovely course, friendly people

Even tho' this is a 9 holer so you go round twice, it's a lovely course with some variation on the 'back 9'. Lovely undulating course and some tricky holes. We really enjoyed our day out there and would play again.Good deal with the bacon butties too.

Unfortunately the greens had a dressing of sand on them. Other than that the course was in good condition

A wonderful golf course -both scenically, in terms of the layout, difficulty and memorable individual holes-a joy to play with no loss being a 9 hole course(different tee placements making the "back 9" just as different as the 1st "9")
Catering excellent added to a lovely clubhouse and very friendly membership--do yourself a favour --go and play it and be very pleasantly surprised.

A well kept, interesting course which, despite it's being a 9 hole course, provides an satisfying test for golfers of all standards. It is is a friendly club where members go out of their way to helpful. Food is of a high standard and good value for money. Regretably, there is normally no bar/food service on Mondays.
