So friendly

Winter Golf At Its Finest
Given all the rain of the last couple of months this course is in as good a condition as you're likely to find anywhere. Tees look great, fairways showing growth and definition already. Bunkers have had work on them and look and play really well. The greens are receptive as you would expect but also running at a great speed. It will only get better as the year progresses.Well worth anyone?s time in playing.

Fabulous course
Great course with lots of different challenges, testing all aspects of your game, although remaining playable & enjoyable for higher handicaps too. The course is in great condition considering all the rain & is very well looked after. Friendly & knowledgable staff in the pro shop & a great bar with excellent food. This course loves rain. With all the heavy rain and course closures within the area, Churchill and Blakedown remained open, this course soaks it up. Tees and greens in full use and in great condition. Superb course for all seasons

What a difference
I played here last year in the summer, the course was running fast and it was exceptionally dry. Turning up this year you can really see how hard the greenstaff have been working in these hot and dry conditions. Teeing areas now have definition and the aprons around the greens look fantastic. Tees, greens and aprons are well watered considering. You need to go and play this little gem!Reviewer Rating

Winter Golf At It?s Best
Given the weather over the last few weeks it never ceases to amaze me how good this course is??playable 52 weeks a year it really is a course that stands up to all weathers?Tees were in great condition, still run on the fairways and the greens were running true and at a good pace for the time of year.
Anyone thinking about a game (especially when other courses are closed/unplayable) should get themselves a game here.

What?s Not To Like
Course has gone from strength to strength since lockdown. Bunkers looking better by the day. Fairways looking great. Greens also picking up by the day and will only get better. Always playable no matter what the weather (unless it's snow) make this a great venue to play. Food is always of the highest quality. A great 9 hole course which is well maintained and challenging for all golfers. Members are very friendly and have a great clubhouse serving delicious food.

A well kept, interesting course which, despite it's being a 9 hole course, provides an satisfying test for golfers of all standards. It is is a friendly club where members go out of their way to helpful. Food is of a high standard and good value for money. Regretably, there is normally no bar/food service on Mondays.

Keeps Getting Better
Over the past 4-5 months the course has got better and better. The new head Greenkeeper Wayne has made a massive difference to the course as a whole but especially the greens. Played here Saturday and I can honestly say they are the best they've been since I joined over 5 years ago?so pure and quick too.It really is a joy to play here and I'm not the only one to say this.
If you want a friendly, enjoyable and relaxed game then here is the place to play.

Worcestershires best kept secret. Fantastic course layout which is just getting better & better. From tee to green it presents challenges on every hole from 1-18 which really eliminates any idea of it being 'just' 9 holes. Such a warm welcome every time from the pro shop to the bar. Cannot recommend highly enough.
