Superb again
I played in June & rated it as superb & it's still superb. The layout is superb, the condition is superb & the hotel is superb. The greens are exceptional for the time of year & the bunkers are the best I've seen in quite a while.
It's difficult to pick out stand out holes, but I particularly liked the 11th with it's long down hill drive that needs to be right of the fairway to give you a chance of reaching the green.
To top it off the hotel is excellent, lovely rooms & great food.
All in all, the Cotswold Hotel is well worth a visit.
Did I mention this place was superb again?

Society Day
Very much a course that will be on my 2020 Society Calendar after this years event. Tough, yet forgiving, long yet reachable, and not a boring hole on the course. Love the 10th hole, and also hate the 10th hole green, it’s so damn tough! Only down fall is the long walk to the driving range from the club house.Reviewer Rating

Superb
The course is superb, the layout is superb, the condition is superb & the hotel is superb.A fantastic course that you need to plot your way around. The fairways narrow in strategic places, the trees come in, or there's a well placed bunker.
There was no stand out hole, they were all superb.
To top it off the hotel is excellent, lovely rooms & great food.
All in all, the Cotswold Hotel is well worth a visit.

Nice Course - worth visiting
Second visit with our Society and another very enjoyable time. Course in good condition - although chnages to some fairways have not been adjusted on GPS trackers etc. Signs at Pro shop but nothing to remind you on the tee position, which woukl dbe useful. Still a nice course to play, not easy, some tricky holes. Restuarant staff not very welcoming!(Round played: Jun 2019 - Score: 94 Handicap: 17.8)

A course you will want to play again.
The Cotswold is easy to get to by A roads or you could take the scenic route. Either way you arrive at a golf course with some demanding Par 3s. The clubhouse staff are helpful as are the staff in the pro shop. The members, areca happy bunch as well they might be. Well worth a visit. My tip is to take a club longer than you think it is. The course distances are deceptively long.Reviewer Rating

Very nice course
Greens in very good condition, but fairways very burnt and lots of dead grass due to recent weather. Love to play again when fairways in better condition(Round played: Sep 2018 - Score: 97 Handicap: 17.5)

Good
The course was extremely dry show had to play a little differently to how I would play normally. Greens were great and very difficult pin positions so was a good challenging course(Round played: Jul 2018 - Score: 100 Handicap: 20.2)

A nice tidy course, good for players of all abilities
Played for the first time at the weekend. The course is an undulating course which has several very good holes, populated with lots of others that keep you honest and interested.
The green's were noticeably slow but as members of the public (like me) can play I suspect this is to keep the rounds moving as the angles of the greens would have presented a more difficult challenge had they been quicker.
The course has few holes where it is tight off the tee, which is good for higher handicappers like myself, but is also long enough to make better golfers and longer hitters tested too (I played with a 10 handicapper and he enjoyed it).
A good track that if you were in the area I would recommend. The round was £30 and that felt decent value for the course and condition it was in.
