Very wet day

Great Weekend
Spent a great weekend at this lovely hotel and course.Room, food bar and staff all very good, COVID 19 safe and strict rules in place. Great weekend.(Round played: Oct 2020 - Score: 145 Handicap: 50.2)

Well worth a visit
I would strongly recommend you giving this course a look. Played it 2 years ago and it was good then but now it is excellent.(Round played: Jul 2020 - Score: 84 Handicap: 17.4)

A real gem in beautiful countryside
First golf after lockdown and this was the perfect course to play. Greens were in great condition given the dry weather and it was a really enjoyable course with interesting holes that contrasted in terms of challenges. Plenty of investment going on in terms of hotel and club house on site... I do hope that doesn't detract from this lovely course. Some of the holes have changed as a result so care in believing the yardage on your tech! I will definitely be back.Reviewer Rating

Superb again
I played in June & rated it as superb & it's still superb. The layout is superb, the condition is superb & the hotel is superb.The greens are exceptional for the time of year & the bunkers are the best I've seen in quite a while.
It's difficult to pick out stand out holes, but I particularly liked the 11th with it's long down hill drive that needs to be right of the fairway to give you a chance of reaching the green.
To top it off the hotel is excellent, lovely rooms & great food.
All in all, the Cotswold Hotel is well worth a visit.

Society Day
Very much a course that will be on my 2020 Society Calendar after this years event. Tough, yet forgiving, long yet reachable, and not a boring hole on the course. Love the 10th hole, and also hate the 10th hole green, it’s so damn tough! Only down fall is the long walk to the driving range from the club house.Reviewer Rating

great course, great greens

Superb
The course is superb, the layout is superb, the condition is superb & the hotel is superb.A fantastic course that you need to plot your way around. The fairways narrow in strategic places, the trees come in, or there's a well placed bunker.
There was no stand out hole, they were all superb.
To top it off the hotel is excellent, lovely rooms & great food.
All in all, the Cotswold Hotel is well worth a visit.
