Great Course, loved it.
Some holes look easy but you do you have to pick yourself round to stay out of the traps. Really well set up. Course knowledge obviously massively helps. A few holes I put a ball where I thought was good to get up there and realise I needed another 30 yds or should have been 30 yds shorter

The Montgomerie
A cracking course, uses the contours superbly to give plenty of challenges.Stand out hole is the 3rd, a superb par 5 that drops away to give great views of the surrounding countryside.
It's in great condition, greens lovely & true. An excellent option if you can't afford the 2010
NB: It is a long & challenging walk, so bear that in mind depending on your fitness.

Outstanding
Played the 2010 - Outstanding.From the greeting at arrival to your clubs being dropped off at the end of the round it's an amazing experience.
As you'd expect the course is in superb condition, with lightening quick greens. It's long, but with loads of water & bunkers to add even more jeopardy.
My one complaint was length of round, 5H 15M, we had buggies, which had to stay on the path which meant sometimes you were 50 yards away from your ball when selecting your club. Get used to carrying 3 or 4 clubs to your ball.

We played as a corporate day it was excellent value and as always a fantastic experience. The course was as u would expect very well kept.(Round played: Sep 2018 - Score: 97 Handicap: 27)
