Fantastic Experience
Amazing venue, course was brilliant, staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. 100% rebook and play again. The experience exceeded expectations. Booked as a Xmas present and didn’t disappoint!A big thank you to Colin for making us feel so welcome, the experience wouldn’t have been the same without him!

Great golf day
Had a voucher from buying clubs in the golf academy. Hospitality at the 2010 was just fantastic, so many little extras that made the day special (par 3 gift vouchers, drinks in clubhouse) and just incredibly friendly staff. Played the 2010 11/08/25. Don’t think I’ve ever played a course in such good condition at this time of year, it was fantastic, lush green fairways and rapid greens. This is by far the best of the 3. I was made to feel welcome and can’t fault any of the staff, most helpful and friendly, will be coming back (fingers crossed) in a few months. Thankyou .Reviewer Rating

It was an absolute pleasure to play the course last week, the complimentary round is really the icing on the cake!
We were amazed at the welcome we received, right from the start, being greeted at the door all the way through to having our clubs cleaned at the end of the day.
Your welcome, service, and facilities are truly world class. It was more than just a golf round at a prestigious course, I can only describe it as a wonderful, memorable experience.

I booked this last may and had no idea as to weather or what the course would be like. However we had the best weather anyone could ask for. The golf was excellent the whole experience within the golf side was beyond excellent. The golf pro Alex Price. Celtic Manor Late Feb 25
Myself and a close friend booked Celtic Manor as our first proper golf trip having taken up golf 18 months ago. Not knowing what to fully expect we’ve come away taken aback by how amazing it was. Not only all 3 courses being amazing (Back 9 of Montgomery being my personal favourite) but how good the staff were with us. From our first day they couldn’t help you enough whether it’s offering to clean your clubs and trollies after a round or even something simple like opening doors for you as your carting your trollies around. Josh in the clubhouse was particularly helpful with everything we needed golf related. I honestly couldn’t recommend this place enough to people who are on the fence about booking. Titleist series pairs winter comp
Great experience. The golf team and set up is excellent from start to finish. Bag drop, breakfast, tournament app, buggie set up and meal afterwards. Will definitely be playing in many more. It’s wet as it’s winter but course held up very well and greens were rolled true.Reviewer Rating

Golf lesson
I had a 30 minute lesson with Glenn teaching pro at the Celtic Manor.My lesson was about sort out my left to right fade (I call it the dying duck)Glenn advised me on the way I was attacking the ball ,I was not coming from the inside.Played a few days later and my golf ball striking has never been so good.
I can’t thank Glenn enough .

Great service, great course!
I had the pleasure of playing the 2010 today for the second time and the amazing course conditions are bettered only by the incredible service I received from everyone a the resort.The course itself is playing very well, there has been some work done on the drainage since I last played and although we have been having some very wet, very cold conditions, there was very little water. The greens were immaculate and played like the championship course it is.
The staff though are the real crown in the jewel of Celtic Manor resort. We were looked after from the moment we arrived, to the time we were dropped off at the club house doors along with our newly cleaned clubs. A great day, made even more special by great people.

Celtic Manor Golf Resort
Played both the Montgomerie & Twenty Ten Golf courses over a two day experience. Montgomerie is challenging on many levels and is tougher than the 120 slope rating. The golf course is not flat or for the faint hearted. There is a fair distance from green to the next tee so a buggy is advised. The Twenty Ten course is much flatter but just as challenging as water is never far away from catching a wayward shot. I did notice that there are no ball washers or benches at any tee on the Twenty Ten Golf course. There is an optional parking 3 challenge on hole 10 where a hole in one wins a 10 year membership or land on the green for a free round on Montgomerie or Roman Road golf courses. The whole complex is huge with two clubhouse's and an Academy Driving Range next to the Montgomerie golf course. The staff are friendly and cannot do enough for every golfer making it a truly great experience.Reviewer Rating

Arriving at the 2010 clubhouse were checked in very efficiently staff incredibly friendly and helpful. Made your day feel very special. They take your clubs down to the practice area and when you arrive back they clean your clubs for you and get them ready for collection, while you’re on the course there is the halfway house also regularly coming round to check if you want any drinks, et cetera. Thoroughly recommend any keen golfers to visit.

Dear Celtic Manor Team,I wanted to express my heartfelt appreciation for the exceptional hospitality I experienced during my recent day at Celtic Manor. From the moment I arrived, the level of service and professionalism displayed by every member of your staff was truly remarkable.
To the receptionists, your warm welcome and efficient check-in process set the tone for a wonderful visit. Your friendly smiles and helpful demeanor were greatly appreciated.
To the bar staff, thank you for your excellent service and for crafting delicious drinks with such enthusiasm and skill. Your attention to detail and customer care did not go unnoticed.
To the club cleaners, your hard work and dedication to maintaining a pristine environment are commendable. The cleanliness and tidiness of the facilities contributed greatly to the overall experience.

Returned to the Celtic for our Winter League weekend away. 28 golfers staying at the resort with a round each on the 2010 and Roman Road with 2 rounds on the Monty. Was extremely satisfied with the conditions of all the courses, yes it’s been a bad winter with rainfall at an all time high for all courses across the country but to present all the courses the way they are was nothing short of miraculous thanks goes to all the green staff. The resort staff again went well beyond to ensure all golfers where well looked after, from shoe & club cleaning at the 2010 to the arrangements made for our awards dinner. Special mention to Monica at the main clubhouse for attending to our catering needs, Bam at the halfway house for the tastiest hot chocolate and hottest sausage rolls, a big thank you to Josh who attended at the front of house ensuring buggies, nearest the pins and bag storage was all taken care of with professionalism, top bloke. We all got rained off from our golf tee time and Finn in the pro shop was more than helpful at finding out why and even giving us 20% discount from top tracer due to the confusion excellent customer service if you ask me.

Fantastic course and we were looked after incredibly well by the golf team. Everyone who we came into contact with couldn't have been more helpful to make our stay so enjoyable. Testing golf course with some great views and testing greens. A super day out and would definitely recommend!

I had the pleasure of playing Twenty Ten in 2022 and I was thoroughly impressed! The course was in fantastic condition, with greens like glass and a real challenge. The setting was beautiful and the club had a great history and quality. Overall, it was a great experience and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a quality, iconic Ryder Cup course.

This course is an iconic golfing experience that is well maintained and offers a challenging round. The facilities are fantastic and the greens are excellent. The staff are friendly and helpful and the course is busy but not overcrowded. The layout is varied with a tough and challenging course that is in amazing condition. I thoroughly enjoyed my round and would recommend it to anyone looking for a great golf experience.

A trip to Wales to play in February must always be treated with some trepidation. Especially when you are a high handicapper and it's your first round of the year! But the sun shone and despite the course being wet we had a great day. The greens were excellent and Mountgomery midweek winter deal of £23 must currently rank as the best value golf experience in the UK. But it's a tough course. Don't expect to come off smiling, especially if you didn't splash out for a buggy. But we all need the exercise and you will sleep well.Reviewer Rating
