Great course, lovely staff and very reasonably priced. Members and staff are very welcoming and a lovely spot to hold functions!

Poor unfortunately

Good greens but the back 9 layout is silly. Essentially a 12 hole golf course with extra holes thrown in on the side of a hill. Bad bounces close to greens lead to lost balls. Just the wrong terrain to put a course.

Very good up and down parkland course with loads of trees, couples of holes has no real landing spot so just hit and hope it lands ok.

Maturing golf course

The course has been in existence for around 20 years and has really started to mature. Thousands of trees planted have help better define the course. The course does undulate but trolleys and buggies are available subject to weather conditions. Its location near the M4 offers easy access and green fees are very reasonable. The 19th offers some nice food and coffee at a good price. Really worth a round and great for societies.

Always seems very quiet. Course is fairly undulating but in very good condition. Fairways and Greens always looked after very well. Seems quite straightforward but is actually challenging. Some par 4\'s tough to reach in 2 shots, particularly if the wind is blowing. Staff and members are helpful and friendly. Recommended.

Pleasently surprised how good the course was. Heard some negative reports about this course. However it was well maintained with some lovely views of the surrounding area. Well worth a visit.

A decent course, medium length. Varied holes, some open holes some more tight. I played during wet weather which made it play longer. Greens were of a good speed and true. It has 4 par 5s but they are back to back on both front and back 9 which was annoying. Very friendly members and club house staff. Pro lent me a pair of shoes as I had forgot mine.

Terrible day out... Arrived at the course and was charged 45£ for 2people with a buggy (fair price) but then it cost 25£ for 1 round without a buggy??!! after the 1st hole we caught up with a 4 ball which then turned into a 7 ball as they caught up with there mates and continued to play

Course well maintained but a little up and down and several holes where hitting blind. Having to ring the bell quite often. Big problem is that it is turn up and play, no tee booking system, so if caught in traffic a round can last a long time.

Fairways were quite patchy and only had a minimal grass covering. You can see the soil through the grass quite clearly. My back garden has better grass coverage. Greens very bobbly. I know we've had an awful winter of rain, but other courses in the area are better presented. Definitely not worth £25.

Very Hilly course, doesnt take wet weather as well as most other courses but is generally in decent condition.
+ course links up well if getting caught between large groups allows for a quicker round
