A great test of your golf, played after heavy rain and fairways and greens drained and dry. Played course previously and bunker improvements in progress. Thoughtful club selection and course management rewarded. Greens a true test of your putting. Club house and pro shop good.

Long course with some distance between 'T' and green on occasions. Clever placement of bunkers but nice wide fairways. Course was in excellent condition even after several days of very heavy rain.

Challenging course, well defended by bunkers and with some terrific greens.

Some of the fairways could have done with a bit of work but generally it was in very good condition thoughout.

We had a 2 for 1 voucher which made things reasonable as otherwise the full price visitors fees are a bit steep.

Overall very enjoyable, will be back soon

If you are a big hitter and like bunkers you will love this course. I played it on April 9th 2011 in a EWGA medal final. An excellent choice with a variety of challenges throughout the course. The Gorse at times got in the way of play but there is very little water to worry about. Lots of par 4's with only a few par 3's. I loved the width and length of the course with some tricky dog legs making it an interseting course. An extremely friendly, well equipped club with a very friendly Lady Captain and club Pro.

Found a good deal to play here via Direct Tee Times - £20. A longish, flattish, rather featureless course which is underpinned by the quality of its greens - enormous, very undulating and in excellent condition. Fairways played well. Well bunkered - a few could have been better raked by the early morning green staff. We played at 10.00 and found the course very quiet. Whilst I did not use the clubhouse, prima facie the facilities looked excellent.

Definitely worth a vist

Not a cheap course to play but very enjoyable. In great condition considering the recent spell of bad weather. Fairways well maintained and close cut enabling the ball to run. The rough not too long so wayward balls could be found, unless buried in the undergrowth. Bunkers had decent sand thatg wasnt compacteded allowing you to play our without breaking wrist! Greens very good but not easy to read. A challenging golf day.

The course was fantastic i would love to play there again but in not so hot weather.
They had a temporary cabin as clubhouse due to a new one being built and opening very soon.

The greens were perfect.

Worth a vist

Once again enjoyed the course although the lack of clubhouse facilities isnt reflected in the price of a round. Greens in good condition, and running fast, although slowed down in the afternoon rain. Bunkers in very good condition and with plenty of sand. Major changes to layout since our last visit have made some challenging approaches. Enjoyable course to play.

Brilliant

Under the current conditions the course is brilliant and looks superb. With the dry fairways and beautiful tee boxes and greens. The course continues to improve based on the changes and remains one of the best in the area.

Played here many times but was a little disappointed that the driving range had no practice balls available. All the balls were already on the practice area where they were yet to be picked up . My only negative on the day

Great Course to play

Definitely worth a visit. A lot of work has been done on the course making it a great challenge. In excellent condition. Even the sand in the bunkers is excellently maintained.
