Too open. Too windy. Large park with holes rather than a golf course.

A very cheap round, but there's good reason. A lot of the fairways are "blocked" by perpendicular rows of hedges or trees, often completely obscuring any view of the pin / green.
The greens themselves are in very poor condition - they are more like fairways.
The rough is extremely rough, if do go "off piste" (as I often do), you'll either spend ages trying to find your ball, or lose a lot of balls.
I won't be returning to this course.

Played yesterday at the end of a long dry period. Course looked parched. Lots of brown grass on the fairways. Greens had just been hollow cored and heavily sanded, so were difficult to judge. Had lots of borrows and height changes so would be tricky when back to normal conditions. bunkers were poor. Lots of small stones. Several bunkers short of sand causing problems to very hard surface just beneath what sand there was.

Overrated course.
I played it only once, I had to pay for a day price, rather for a round price (the guy in the proshop couldn't explain why) when the "short" rough was very big and the greens had just been aerified. And let's not mention the stones in the bunkers...
The course itself isn't particularly interesting and some holes are very noisy.
I definitely don't think it's worth the price and won't come back.

a nice long course. kept in good condition considering it was winter. Fairways cut nice. greens played well. nice food in the clubhouse
